DEWALT TSTAK Mobile Rolling Tool Box DWST17820 — Large Deep Stackable Toolbox with Telescopic Handle & 7" Wheels

Built for tradespeople and hobbyists who need a portable yet roomy storage solution, this rolling tool box pairs a deep storage compartment with durable 7-inch wheels, corrosion-resistant metal latches and a bi-material top handle. The design lets you stack other TSTAK units securely on top, and the telescopic handle folds away for compact storage. It’s engineered to simplify moving heavy tools between job sites, vehicles and workshops without sacrificing organization.

How much gear can this rolling tool box hold?

The DWST17820 prioritizes maximum interior volume in a single mobile unit so you can carry bulkier power tools and larger accessories. Its deep main compartment accommodates a mix of tools, cords and parts while leaving room for protective case storage.

• Deep central storage for drills, saws and impact drivers
• Room for chargers, batteries and smaller hand tools
• Full-width interior to fit cases and irregular-shaped items

How does the mobility and handling make transport easier?

Mobility is handled by large 7-inch wheels and a metal-plastic telescopic handle that leans backward for balanced towing. The handle locks with a push-button for quick extension and retraction, while the wheel size helps roll smoothly over rough ground and vehicle thresholds.

• 7-inch wheels reduce vibration and improve roll over job-site terrain
• Telescopic handle with push-button release for rapid setup
• Balanced lean-back handle position for controlled towing

What features protect tools and ensure long-term durability?

Materials and hardware choices focus on job-site resilience: anti-rust metal latches resist corrosion from exposure, and the bi-material top handle offers durable, comfortable carrying when wheel use isn’t convenient. The robust shell stands up to knocks and routine use.

• Anti-rust metal latches keep closures secure in damp conditions
• Bi-material top handle for comfort and reduced hand fatigue
• Sturdy outer case resists impact and daily wear

How does stacking and modularity work with other TSTAK units?

The side latches are designed to lock other TSTAK modules on top, creating a configurable mobile workstation. Stack your organizers, small parts bins and accessory units to build a tailored setup that travels as a single, stable system.

• Side latches secure compatible TSTAK boxes overhead
• Create a custom stack for tools, bits, and consumables
• Fast assembly and disassembly for changing job requirements

Who is this for? It’s ideal for anyone who transports heavier tools regularly, prefers modular organization, and wants corrosion-resistant hardware and a comfortable carry option for mixed job-site conditions.
