DEWALT 20V MAX XR Reciprocating Saw Compact 14.5" (Tool Only) — Brushless, Variable Speed, LED

The DEWALT 20V MAX XR Brushless Compact Reciprocating Saw (DCS367B) is a lightweight, 14.5" cordless saw built for tight spaces and extended runtime thanks to its brushless motor and compact design.

Designed to cut between studs, rafters and other confined areas, this DCS367B model pairs a brushless motor with a short overall length to deliver efficient cutting without the bulk of a full-size reciprocating saw. It accepts all DEWALT 20V MAX batteries (battery and charger sold separately) and combines a variable-speed trigger with a bright onboard LED for improved control and visibility on every jobsite.

How does the brushless motor improve runtime and performance?

The brushless motor reduces internal friction and electrical loss, which increases efficiency and extends run time compared with brushed models. That means more cuts per charge when paired with a compatible DEWALT 20V MAX battery.

• Up to 2.5x longer runtime on average using recommended battery comparisons.
• More efficient power delivery for consistent speed under load.
• Lower maintenance—no brushes to replace.

Will this saw fit in tight framing and between studs?

Yes — the saw’s compact 14.5" length and lightweight 5 lb (tool only) construction make it well suited for confined workspaces. The reduced profile helps you position the blade where a full-size saw wouldn’t reach.

• 14.5" overall length for access in narrow openings.
• 5 lb tool-only weight for easier one-handed positioning.
• Pivoting head and slim body geometry for awkward angles.

How does the tool handle blade changes and cutting control?

The DCS367B includes a keyless 4-position blade clamp for fast swaps and orientation adjustments, so you can shift between demolition, plumbing, or rough cutting tasks quickly. A variable-speed trigger lets you dial in stroke rate up to 2,900 spm for material-appropriate control.

• Keyless 4-position blade clamp: quick changes and multi-angle cutting.
• Variable-speed trigger up to 2,900 SPM for fine or aggressive cutting.
• 1-1/8" stroke length for efficient material removal per cycle.

What features help on dim or fast-paced jobsite conditions?

The built-in LED improves visibility in poorly lit cavities and behind walls, while the saw’s balance and low weight reduce fatigue during extended use. These practical details speed workflow and increase accuracy under real jobsite conditions.

• Bright LED illuminates the cut line in dark areas.
• Compact balance and reduced weight help longer use with less fatigue.
• Robust construction and DEWALT compatibility for pro environments.

Who this tool is for: The DEWALT DCS367B is aimed at carpenters, remodelers, plumbers and electricians who need a powerful, compact reciprocating saw for confined spaces and repetitive cutting tasks. It’s also a strong choice for general contractors and DIYers who prioritize portability, fast blade changes and the extended runtime of brushless motor technology. Remember this listing is tool-only; choose a compatible DEWALT 20V MAX battery and charger to complete your kit.
