DEWALT 20V MAX XR Impact Driver & Hammer Drill Combo Kit — 2×4.0Ah POWERPACK, Brushless

The DEWALT 20V MAX XR DCK250QQ2 is a two-tool cordless kit pairing DEWALT’s most powerful 20V MAX hammer drill with a high-torque compact impact driver, bundled with two 4.0Ah POWERPACK batteries and a fast charger for extended jobsite runtime.

This combo kit is built for tradespeople and serious DIYers who need both drilling and heavy-duty fastening capability without being tethered to cords. The hammer drill offers high-speed transmission and hammering force for masonry and wood applications, while the impact driver delivers increased torque for driving large fasteners. Together with two XR POWERPACK batteries, the kit aims to balance power, runtime, and portability across construction, remodeling, and maintenance tasks.

How does the hammer drill improve drilling and hammering performance?

The DCD806 hammer drill features DEWALT’s most powerful 20V MAX 2-speed design, engineered to boost drilling speed and impact capability for tougher substrates. Variable speed and a high-speed transmission let you match pace and force to the material, improving control and finishing quality.

• Up to 109% more power compared with previous 20V MAX models for faster drilling.
• Two-speed gearbox (0–650 / 0–2,000 rpm) for precision or speed as needed.
• Variable speed trigger for controlled starts and consistent hole quality.
• Hammer mode for masonry and concrete work without a corded setup.

What makes the compact impact driver better for fastening tasks?

The DCF845 impact driver is optimized for high-torque fastening, giving you the muscle to drive large screws and lag bolts with fewer tool changes. Its brushless motor improves efficiency for more runtime while reducing maintenance compared with brushed designs.

• Delivers 1825 in-lbs of torque to handle heavy-duty fasteners.
• High no-load speed up to 3,400 RPM for quick screw driving.
• Compact form factor improves access in tight spaces and overhead work.
• Brushless motor increases runtime and extends motor life.

How do the included POWERPACK batteries and charger affect jobsite productivity?

Two 20V MAX XR 4.0Ah POWERPACK batteries expand continuous runtime and reduce downtime waiting for recharge. The batteries are compatible with DEWALT’s 20V MAX system, making them a flexible power source across other cordless tools in the lineup.

• Two 4.0Ah XR batteries provide longer runtime than smaller cells for full-shift use.
• POWERPACK design balances power density and durability on demanding jobsites.
• Fast charger included to get batteries back into service quickly between tasks.
• Cross-compatibility with DEWALT 20V MAX tools simplifies battery inventory.

What accessories and real-world advantages does this kit provide?

Beyond the core tools and batteries, the kit is intended to reduce the number of trips to the toolbox and minimize interruptions through higher-capacity batteries and tool versatility. It supports both precision work and heavy fastening or drilling, making it a practical all-around solution for many trades.

• Two complementary tools cover drilling, hammer drilling, and high-torque fastening needs.
• Compact impact driver improves access in cabinetry, framing, and retrofit work.
• Hammer drill’s high-speed setting speeds through wood and metal, while hammer mode tackles masonry.
• Durable construction suited to jobsite conditions and daily professional use.

Who is this for: This DEWALT 2-tool combo is well suited for carpenters, electricians, plumbers, general contractors, and experienced DIYers who require both a powerful hammer drill and a high-torque impact driver in one portable package. If you need reliable cordless performance across drilling, fastening, and occasional masonry work, and you value extended runtime from 4.0Ah XR batteries, this kit delivers a balanced, professional-grade solution without a cord.
