DEWALT 20V Cordless Drill/Driver Kit — Compact 2-Speed with 2x 1.3Ah Batteries & Charger

This compact drill/driver is built for homeowners, tradespeople, and DIYers who need a lightweight tool that reaches into tight spaces without sacrificing power. The unit delivers up to 300 UWO of output and offers two selectable speed ranges so you can match torque and speed to tasks from fastener driving to light drilling. The kit bundles essential accessories so you can work right away and stow the tool for transport or storage.

How does this drill perform on common household projects?

The DCD771C2 is tuned for routine repairs, furniture assembly, shelf hanging, and light-duty construction. Its high-performance motor and ratcheting 1/2" chuck produce reliable bit grip and consistent torque for wood, plastics, drywall, and thin metals. The two-speed gearbox lets you switch between low-speed torque for driving screws and higher-speed drilling for pilot holes.

• Screwdriving and assembly: precise torque control for fasteners
• Drilling: 0–450 rpm for control; 0–1,500 rpm for quicker holes
• Materials: suitable for wood, plastic, drywall, light metals
• Not recommended for masonry or heavy industrial drilling

What features make it easy to use in tight spaces?

DEWALT engineered the tool with a compact head and lightweight construction so users can reach confined areas and work overhead without excessive fatigue. The ergonomic handle improves grip comfort and control during extended tasks. A single-sleeve ratcheting chuck ensures quick bit changes and secure retention in awkward positions.

• Compact head design fits into narrow cabinets and between studs
• Lightweight body reduces wrist strain during prolonged use
• Ergonomic handle for better one-handed control
• Ratcheting 1/2" chuck for fast, secure bit swaps

How long will the included batteries and charger keep me working?

The kit ships with two 20V Max XR 1.3Ah lithium-ion batteries that balance run time and reduced weight, letting you alternate batteries for continuous work. While 1.3Ah cells are compact for portability, they recharge quickly with the supplied charger and are ideal for light-to-medium tasks rather than extended heavy-duty jobs. Carrying two batteries in the contractor bag ensures minimal downtime on typical household or jobsite assignments.

• Two 20V Max XR 1.3Ah batteries for balanced weight and runtime
• Charger included for quick battery replenishment between tasks
• Contractor bag stores tool, batteries, and charger for transport
• Swap batteries to maintain work flow during installations
