DesGully Solar Bird Feeder — Metal Hanging Wild Bird Feeder, 2.4 lb Capacity, Solar Lantern & Weather-Resistant

DesGully Solar Bird Feeder is a heavy-duty, weather-resistant hanging feeder that dispenses seed by day and glows like a lantern at night, with an 8–10 hour rechargeable light and a 2.4 lb seed capacity.

Designed for backyards, patios, and garden sanctuaries, this premium metal feeder blends durable construction with visitor-friendly features to attract a wide range of wild birds. The feeder arrives assembled, suspends securely from thick chains, and uses a solar panel and rechargeable battery so the lantern function charges during daylight without wiring. Built to resist rust, chewing, and the elements, it aims to offer low-maintenance feeding and a decorative night-time glow.

How does the solar lantern feature work and how long does it shine?

The integrated solar panel charges an internal battery whenever the feeder is exposed to sunlight; a simple switch activates charging. Once fully charged, the LED lantern provides about 8–10 hours of soft illumination, making the feeder both attractive and safe after dark.

• Built-in solar panel and rechargeable battery for cordless charging.
• 8–10 hours typical light runtime on a full daytime charge.
• Switch to start charging before first use; automatically usable at night.

Is the feeder durable enough for outdoor exposure and pests?

Yes — the feeder uses thick-gauge metal finished to resist rust and sun damage, plus strong suspension hardware that carries heavy loads and endures rough weather. Its IP55 rating tolerates hose-cleaning and light water exposure without harming the electronics or structure.

• Rust- and UV-resistant metal body for long outdoor life.
• Thick chains and hooks rated up to 30 pounds for secure hanging.
• IP55 protection level; durable under hose-down cleaning.

How easy is it to fill, maintain, and attract different bird species?

The top cover opens for direct refilling, and a decorative hollow pattern gives birds visual access to seeds while letting you monitor levels. Six seed outlets and a circular tray accommodate various beak sizes, while drain holes prevent soggy seed and simplify cleaning.

• 2.4 lb seed capacity with visible seed pattern for level checks.
• Six dispensing ports and a round platform for multiple bird types.
• Tray drain holes and easy top-access lid for fast refills and cleaning.

What safety and convenience features protect seeds and feeders?

The feeder’s gazebo-style roof provides shade and keeps rain off seed, and the metal construction tolerates chewing and accidental drops. The unit ships fully assembled so you can hang it and start feeding right away.

• Panoramic roof shields seed from rain and direct sun exposure.
• Durable metal withstands chewing and falls from typical hanging heights.
• Comes fully assembled with simple hanging hardware included.
