Dell 65W USB-C Laptop Charger for Latitude 5400–5450 — Black OEM 3ft Cord, Fast Charging

This OEM Dell AC adapter arrives in non-retail packaging with a 3-foot power cord and a USB-C connector engineered to supply variable power profiles. It supports multiple voltage/current combinations so it can fast-charge when higher wattage is needed and provide lower-power charging for more efficient, low-demand modes. The unit is listed under several factory model numbers (LA65NM190, HA65NM190, DA65NM190, HKA65NM200) and matches Dell part numbers used across Latitude 5400 through 5450 series laptops.

Will this charger power my Dell Latitude 5420 reliably?

Yes — the adapter is designed for full compatibility with Latitude 5400–5450 models and supplies the correct power curves for those systems. Using the official Dell USB-C tip ensures stable delivery and communication between the adapter and laptop for proper charging regulation.

• Output options: 65W (20V/3.25A), 45W (10V/3A), 27W (9V/3A), 15W (5V/3A)
• OEM Dell part equivalence to factory model numbers
• USB-C connector for both power and device negotiation

How fast will my notebook charge with this 65W adapter?

Charging speed depends on the laptop’s battery level, power settings, and active workloads. When the system requests the full 65W profile, you’ll get the fastest possible charging for the supported Latitude models; when the laptop needs less, the adapter scales down automatically for efficient trickle charging.

• Delivers up to 65 watts for accelerated charging under heavy use
• Drops to 45W, 27W or 15W profiles when lower power is required
• USB-C power negotiation prevents over-delivery to the battery

Is this an original Dell product and what connector does it use?

This is a genuine Dell AC adapter supplied in non-retail packaging (new, OEM). It uses a USB Type-C output tip, which is the standard connection on newer Latitude units, and it carries Dell DP/N references used for factory replacement parts.

• New genuine Dell adapter, not a third-party clone
• Includes a 3-foot power cord for immediate use
• Compatible DP/Ns provided for easy compatibility checks

What safety and compatibility checks should I perform before using it?

Confirm your laptop model is within the supported list and inspect the cable and connector for any shipping damage before first use. Always plug the adapter into a grounded outlet and let the laptop complete its power negotiation step; if the system reports a power mismatch, stop using the adapter and verify part numbers.

• Match your Dell model: Latitude 5400, 5410, 5420, 5430, 5440 or 5450
• Verify factory models: LA65NM190, HA65NM190, DA65NM190, HKA65NM200
• Check DP/N list if unsure: 0WMDHR, 0VT148, 0CJG9W, and others
