DampRid Hanging Moisture Absorber 15.4 oz, 6-Pack — Fragrance Free dehumidifier for closets, reduces musty odors & mold risk

DampRid Fragrance Free Hanging Moisture Absorber is a no-electricity dehumidifier that removes excess humidity and the musty odors it creates, in a convenient 15.4 oz hanging bag.

If your closets, laundry room, or storage spaces feel damp or smell stale, this pack of six DampRid hanging bags offers a simple, maintenance-free option to reduce moisture and freshen air. Each 15.4-ounce bag contains moisture-absorbing crystals that draw water vapor out of the air and collect it as liquid in the bottom pouch—helping reduce conditions that contribute to mold and mildew growth without scented additives.

How quickly will DampRid reduce dampness and odors?

You'll often notice reduced musty smells within days as the crystals absorb airborne moisture, and ongoing performance depends on room size and humidity levels. In moderate conditions, a single hanging bag is designed to work continuously and can last up to about 60 days before it needs replacing.

• Works immediately to attract excess humidity and trap it in the pouch.
• Visible liquid collects at the bottom so you can tell when it’s spent.
• Rated to last up to 60 days depending on temperature and humidity.
• 15.4 oz size provides roughly 10% more absorption than 14.5 oz bags.

Where should I place the hanging bag for best results?

Hang DampRid where air circulates but fabrics or stored items are close enough to benefit, such as inside closets, wardrobes, or small storage rooms. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight or touching wet surfaces; the bag needs open air flow to draw moisture efficiently.

• Hang from a closet rod, shelf bracket, or hook with space around the bag.
• Use one bag per small closet or combine multiple bags in larger areas.
• Not recommended for use in moving vehicles or outdoors.
• Keep away from children and pets; follow label instructions.

How do I know when to replace the bag?

Replacement is simple and visible—the collected liquid rises to a printed replacement indicator line on the pouch. When the liquid reaches that line, discard the entire unit and install a fresh hanging bag to maintain performance.

• Check the clear pouch periodically to monitor liquid level.
• Discard and replace when liquid touches the replacement indicator line.
• Do not attempt to open or refill the bag; use new units for best results.
• Dispose of the spent bag in regular trash following local guidelines.

Is this safe and easy to use around clothes and fabrics?

Yes—DampRid Fragrance Free is formulated without added scents, making it suitable for use near garments, linens, and leather where fragrance might be unwanted. Simple setup requires removing outer wrap, unfolding the hanger, and letting it operate hands-free until replacement is needed.

• Fragrance-free formula avoids transferring scents to clothing.
• Non-electric—no cords or batteries required, safe for enclosed spaces.
• Compact hanging design keeps it out of the way of stored items.
• Follow all label directions and keep out of reach of children.
