CYLEN Gel-Infused Memory Foam Wheelchair Cushion 18x16x3 Black — Coccyx Cutout, Cooling & Non-Slip

CYLEN Ifoam is a gel-infused memory foam wheelchair seat cushion engineered to relieve tailbone and pressure-point discomfort while keeping you cool and stable when sitting for long periods.

This supportive seat pad combines a gel-infused memory foam surface with a dense polyfoam base and a washable breathable cover. Designed to retrofit most wheelchairs, office chairs, dining seats and scooters, the 18" x 16" x 3" cushion brings coccyx cutaway shaping, non-slip backing and a dual-layer foam construction intended to balance softness and long-lasting support.

How does this cushion reduce coccyx and tailbone pressure?

The cushion uses a targeted coccyx relief channel and a plush top memory layer that lets the body sink where needed while the firmer medical-grade core prevents bottoming out. That combination redistributes weight away from the sacrum and tailbone to larger contact areas.

• Cutaway design at the rear to offload pressure from the coccyx.
• Gel-infused memory layer contours to body shape for localized cushioning.
• High-density polyfoam core maintains spinal alignment and prevents collapse.

Will it keep me cool during extended sitting?

The cushion's top layer is infused with cooling gel and wrapped in a breathable mesh cover to help dissipate heat. The fabric is removable and washable, making it easier to maintain fresh airflow and hygiene.

• Cooling gel infusion draws heat away from the contact surface.
• Permeable mesh cover encourages airflow and reduces trapped heat.
• Removable cover simplifies washing to remove sweat and odors.

Is this cushion stable enough for wheelchair transfers and daily use?

CYLEN added a non-slip rubberized bottom so the cushion stays put during transfers and while shifting position. The lightweight but resilient foam resists permanent compression, offering dependable daily performance on a range of chair types.

• Non-slip base prevents sliding on wheelchair seats and scooters.
• Durable high-density core resists sagging with frequent use.
• 18" x 16" x 3" dimensions fit most wheelchairs, office and dining chairs.

How firm is the cushion and does it fit different chairs?

The cushion layers are balanced to provide a soft, pressure-relieving top with a supportive, firmer base—comfortable for long sits while giving necessary support. Its standard 18x16 footprint works across many seating surfaces, and it functions as both a seat riser and comfort pad.

• Two-layer construction: memory foam top, medical-grade dense foam core.
• Provides both cushioning and structural support for posture upkeep.
• Compatible with wheelchairs, office chairs, car seats, scooters and dining chairs.

Who this is for: The CYLEN Ifoam cushion suits anyone needing improved pressure distribution and more comfortable sitting—people using wheelchairs or scooters, office workers who sit many hours, drivers, and caregivers seeking a washable, secure seating solution. It is intended as a comfort and pressure-management aid, not a medical treatment.
