Crayola Mess Free Finger Painting Station — Washable Toddler Finger Paint Kit with Lockable Unit, 3-Pack Primary Colors

Crayola Mess Free Finger Painting Station is a contained, washable finger-paint kit that lets toddlers explore color and texture without spreading paint around the house.

This compact Crayola set combines three 5 oz squeeze bottles of washable primary-color finger paint with a lockable Finger Paint Unit and ten coated sheets of finger painting paper. The flexible cover keeps paint and paper beneath a clear surface so little hands can press, smear and mix color while the mess stays contained. Completely portable and easy to clean, the unit rinses under the sink or goes on the top rack of the dishwasher, making it convenient for parents, teachers, and caregivers. The non-toxic formula washes from skin and most washable clothing, and the simple palette of red, blue and yellow encourages early color mixing and sensory play.

How does the Finger Paint Unit keep paint from spreading?

The unit uses a flexible, clear cover that seals the paint and paper underneath a locked lid so toddlers can manipulate color without free paint on surfaces. Because the paint is squeezed and spread inside the case, it minimizes spills and smeared tables.

• Flexible cover holds paint and paper in place under a sealed lid
• Locking mechanism prevents easy access to loose paint
• Coated paper reduces bleed-through and keeps colors vivid
• Compact design fits on a table or lap for controlled play

Is the paint safe and easy to clean after playtime?

Yes — Crayola's washable finger paint is non-toxic and formulated to wash from skin and most washable fabrics. Clean-up is simple thanks to the contained design and washable formula, reducing stress for adults supervising messy activities.

• Non-toxic paint suitable for children ages 1 and up
• Washable formula rinses from hands and most clothing
• Finger Paint Unit is dishwasher-safe on the top rack or rinses under a faucet
• Minimal surface cleanup because paint stays inside the case

What creative and developmental benefits does this set offer toddlers?

The station encourages tactile exploration, early color recognition, and fine-motor skill development as toddlers press and drag paint with their fingers. Using primary colors supports early lessons in color mixing and cause-and-effect while sensory input helps engagement and focus.

• Tactile sensory play through finger painting and texture exploration
• Fine-motor practice from pinching, pressing, and smearing paint
• Foundational color lessons using red, blue, and yellow
• Short, contained activities suitable for travel and quiet play

Can this set be used for travel, gifting, or preschool activities?

Absolutely — the compact, lockable design and included coated sheets make it a portable option for car trips, quiet moments, or small-group craft time. It also makes a bright Easter basket stuffer or a simple springtime gift for an adventurous toddler.

• Compact footprint fits into a diaper bag or small tote
• Durable case handles repeated use in classrooms or at home
• Ideal as a seasonal gift like an Easter basket stuffer
• Refillable with Crayola washable paints and paper (sold separately)
