Crayola Marker Airbrush Spray Art Kit — 8 Washable Markers, 5 Reusable Stencils, Battery-Powered Handheld Airbrush

Crayola Marker Airbrush Spray Art Kit is a battery-powered sprayer set that turns washable Crayola markers into an easy-to-use airbrush for creative spray art.

Give kids a fresh way to explore color and texture with a redesigned hand-held airbrush, eight washable broad markers, and five reusable stencils. The sprayer accepts multiple Crayola marker types so young artists can mix palettes and experiment with layered effects. Simple loading and a single-button trigger let children produce soft misted backgrounds, crisp stencil patterns, and fun gradients without complex equipment.

How do I start making spray art with this kit?

Setting up is straightforward: insert four AA batteries into the redesigned airbrush, slide a compatible marker into the nozzle, and press the trigger while aiming downward. The kit is built for quick swaps between colors so kids can build multi-layered artwork without long waits.

• Load a Broadline, Super Tips, or Pip-Squeaks marker into the sprayer.
• Hold the airbrush pointed downward; the unit activates only in this position.
• Press the button for continuous spray; release to stop and switch colors.
• Use stencils to capture defined shapes and patterns easily.

What creative effects can children achieve with the Marker Airbrush?

Kids can create soft gradients, speckled textures, and sharp stencil outlines by changing distance, angle, and layering. The washable markers make it easy to refine designs, experiment with color blending, and correct as they go.

• Close-range sprays produce concentrated color and sharper edges.
• Spraying from farther away creates soft, blended backgrounds.
• Layering different marker colors builds depth and new hues.
• Stencils add consistent motifs—stars, shapes, and patterned borders.

Is the kit safe and suitable for my child’s age?

The set is formulated for kids aged 6 and up and uses Crayola’s non-toxic, washable markers. Adult supervision is recommended for younger children when handling batteries and swapping tips, but the single-button operation keeps use simple and controlled.

• Markers are non-toxic and washable for easy cleanup.
• Recommended for children 6 years and older.
• Requires four AA batteries (not included); adult help for battery changes advised.
• Airbrush only sprays when pointed downward to reduce accidental discharge.

What extra supplies or tips help get the best results?

Stock up on additional compatible Crayola markers to lengthen creative sessions and try different tip styles for varied spray widths. Use heavyweight paper or craft board to prevent warping and protect surfaces with disposable mats while spraying.

• Try Broadline, Super Tips, or Pip-Squeaks markers for varied effects.
• Use thicker paper or cardboard to avoid bleed-through.
• Cover work surfaces and wear a smock for easy cleanup.
• Store stencils flat and rinse markers under water for washable cleanup.
