Cowdog Chews Rawhide Retriever Roll 5–6" - Grass-Fed Natural Chew, 50-Pack Durable Rolls for Medium-Large Dogs

Cowdog Chews 5–6" Rawhide Retriever Roll is a natural, grass-fed rawhide chew crafted to satisfy strong chewers and promote long-lasting, focused chewing.

These retriever rolls are made from livestock raised on natural grasses and processed to create a firm, layered chew sized approximately five to six inches. Sold in a convenient 50-pack, they’re intended for regular rotation as part of an enrichment routine for medium to large dogs. The product emphasizes simple, single-ingredient sourcing and a classic rolled shape that removes loose edges while offering a durable chewing experience.

What makes this rawhide different from typical chew sticks?

Unlike many mass-market chews, these retriever rolls are produced from grass-fed livestock hides and formed into a tight roll that resists early fraying. The manufacturing focuses on consistent thickness and density so each roll lasts longer under steady chewing. That predictable structure helps owners choose an appropriate size for their dog’s jaw strength.

• Grass-fed hide sourcing for a straightforward ingredient profile
• Tightly rolled design reduces splintering and loose edges
• Uniform 5–6" length suited for medium to large breeds
• Sold in bulk (50 pack) for regular supply and value

How long will one retriever roll typically last?

Longevity depends on your dog’s chewing style and bite force: a moderate chewer may take many sessions over several days, while an aggressive chewer will finish faster. The tight roll construction extends usable time compared with thin rawhide strips, and rotating chews helps maintain interest and durability. Always supervise initial sessions to judge your dog’s handling and set an appropriate replacement schedule.

• Moderate chewers: multiple sessions across days
• Aggressive chewers: shorter, more intense sessions
• Rotate chews to preserve novelty and control wear
• Supervise to assess chewing patterns safely

Are these safe for my dog and how should I use them?

These retriever rolls are a single-ingredient rawhide product intended for supervised chewing only. Offer the roll when you can watch your dog, remove any large broken fragments, and replace the chew when it becomes a small, swallowable piece. Follow standard chew safety: appropriate size selection, limit chewing time, and discard compromised pieces.

• Use under supervision and check for loose fragments
• Choose 5–6" size for medium to large mouths
• Discard small or heavily damaged pieces promptly
• Not a meal replacement—serve as an occasional treat

Why buy a 50-pack instead of single rolls?

Purchasing a 50-pack gives consistent supply for multi-dog households or frequent chewers and reduces per-treat cost. Bulk packaging is convenient for owners who use chews for training, enrichment, or crate-time rewards. It also ensures you have spares on hand when toys wear out or during busy weeks.

• Better value per chew compared with singles
• Handy for households with several dogs
• Ideal for trainers and repeat-use enrichment
• Maintains a steady at-home supply of reliable chews

Who is this for? Cowdog Chews Retriever Roll 5–6" is suited to owners of medium and large breeds who prefer single-ingredient, naturally sourced treats. It’s a practical option for people who want durable, classic rawhide chews in bulk for training, boredom relief, or supervised long-lasting play. If your dog is an aggressive chewer, monitor each session carefully and swap to a sturdier option if the roll wears rapidly.
