Covetrus Nutrisential Lean Dog Treats - Soft Low-Fat Chicken, 3 Pack (3 x 4 oz) for Small to Large Dogs

These soft treats combine a reduced-fat recipe with real skinless chicken for an easy-to-chew reward that's ideal during training, walks, or quiet bonding time. Packaged in convenient 4 oz bags and available in a three-pack, each bite is made to be palatable yet portion-controlled so you can reward behavior without oversupplying calories. Manufactured in the USA under controlled standards, these treats prioritize simple ingredients and a tender texture to suit dogs that need a lighter snack option.

How do these treats help with portion control?

Each piece is deliberately small and soft to make counting and handing out rewards straightforward. That helps trainers and owners avoid large, calorie-dense rewards while still delivering frequent positive reinforcement. The low-fat formulation also reduces per-treat calorie impact compared with regular treats.

• bite-size pieces made for easy single-reward portions
• soft texture allows quick chewing, reducing the need for multiple treats
• low-fat recipe decreases calorie load per reward

What is in the recipe and why choose chicken flavor?

These treats are made with real skinless chicken to provide a familiar, appealing taste many dogs prefer. The ingredient list focuses on straightforward components to deliver flavor and palatability without heavy fats. That makes them useful when you want a protein-forward taste in a lighter snack format.

• real skinless chicken for natural chicken taste
• limited-fat formulation to support calorie management
• soft, easy-to-digest consistency for various dog sizes

Are these treats appropriate for all dog sizes and chewing abilities?

Yes — the soft, tender texture and reduced size make them suitable for small, medium, and large dogs, including pets that prefer gentler chewing treats. Because they’re easy to break or portion, owners can adapt serving size for puppies, seniors, or dogs with dental sensitivities. Always supervise treats with very young animals or dogs with extreme chewing tendencies.

• soft consistency for dogs with sensitive mouths
• small pieces easy to break into smaller rewards
• works for training sessions across size ranges
