Coogam Matching Eggs Color & Shape Matching Toy — 12-Piece Set, Montessori Fine Motor Practice

Coogam Matching Eggs is a 12-piece, child-safe matching and sorting toy that opens to reveal colorful, embossed shapes for hands-on color, shape recognition, and fine motor practice.

This compact set transforms simple play into focused learning: twelve realistic plastic eggs split into halves with matching colors and raised shapes inside. Designed to be durable, smooth, and lightweight, the eggs nest into a handy cardboard carton for tidy storage and easy travel. The toy encourages independent exploration, early STEM thinking, and manual dexterity without screens or batteries.

How do these eggs teach colors and shapes?

Each egg pair reveals a distinct interior color and an embossed shape so children must visually match both color and form to reassemble pairs. The tactile embossed shapes reinforce shape vocabulary while bright interiors sharpen color recognition.

• 12 egg pairs, each with a unique interior color and raised shape
• Contrast between white exterior and colorful inside enhances visibility
• Encourages vocabulary like circle, star, triangle while matching
• Compact carton keeps sets organized for repeated practice

What skills does my child develop playing with these eggs?

Repeatedly opening, identifying, and snapping halves together develops fine motor control, bilateral coordination, and problem-solving. Sorting by color or shape and counting eggs adds early math foundations and focus.

• Fine motor skills from pinching and pressing egg halves
• Hand-eye coordination and bilateral hand use when aligning pieces
• Cognitive skills: matching, categorizing, and counting
• Language growth through naming colors and shapes during play

Is this toy safe and suitable for travel or group play?

The eggs are made from smooth, unbreakable, child-safe plastic and fit neatly into a portable carton, making them easy to take on the go or share in small group settings. There are no electronic parts or small components beyond the egg halves, keeping play simple and durable.

• Top-quality child-safe materials and smooth edges
• Lightweight carton dimensions: 11.8 x 3.9 x 2.7 inches; total weight about 14.07 oz
• No batteries, sounds, or fragile pieces—ideal for travel
• Sturdy construction for everyday classroom or household use

How can parents and educators extend play beyond matching?

Turn basic matching into layered learning by introducing counting games, memory challenges, sequencing by color gradients, or simple pattern creation. These variations keep the activity fresh while targeting different developmental goals.

• Count and sort eggs by color, shape, or size for math practice
• Create short memory games by hiding and revealing specific pairs
• Use eggs to teach simple addition/subtraction with paired sets
• Incorporate storytelling—assign characters or roles to colored eggs
