How long will one Coleman pine citronella candle burn?

Each 6 oz tin delivers up to 25 hours of burn time under typical outdoor conditions. Actual burn length will depend on wind, temperature, and how consistently the candle is left burning.

• Up to 25 hours per 6 oz candle
• Best burn when sheltered from strong wind
• Trim the wooden wick before relighting to extend life

How does the wooden crackle wick improve outdoor evenings?

The wooden wick produces a soft crackling sound that mimics a small campfire, enhancing atmosphere without open flame hazards. It also supports a steady, even burn that helps disperse the pine-citronella scent across a seating area.

• Subtle crackle for cozy ambiance
• Promotes even melt pool for consistent scent release
• Safer than larger open flames when placed in a tin

Will the pine scent help keep insects away?

These citronella candles are formulated to combine citronella’s known outdoor use with a pine fragrance that freshens the air. While they can reduce nuisance insects in a localized area, results vary by environment and wind conditions.

• Citronella is commonly used outdoors to discourage flying pests
• Pine scent masks outdoor odors and creates a woodsy ambiance
• Most effective in sheltered spaces around seating areas

How should I use and maintain these candles safely?

Place tins on a heat-resistant surface and keep away from flammable materials, children, and pets. Extinguish fully before leaving; cool the tin before packing for transport or storage.

• Use on stable, noncombustible surfaces outdoors
• Avoid drafts for longer, steadier burn time
• Store unused tins in a cool, dry place; recycle empty tins
