Coeusy's 2-gallon water hyacinth wicker trash can is a small, handwoven waste basket that brings natural texture and tidy storage to compact spaces.

Handmade from natural water hyacinth, this compact wicker waste basket measures about 7.48 inches in diameter and 11 inches tall (with a slight handcrafted variance of ±0.25 inches). At roughly 1.2 pounds, it’s lightweight yet tightly woven for reliable everyday use. The neutral tone and organic weave make it an easy match for farmhouse, boho, coastal, and modern interiors, while its size is optimized for bathrooms, bedrooms, dorms, RVs, and home offices.

How does this wicker trash can improve small-room organization?

The Coeusy wicker trash can keeps clutter contained without overwhelming limited floor space. Its round footprint fits snugly beside vanities, desks, or nightstands while offering simple, visible storage for disposables or lightweight items.

• 2-gallon capacity for compact rooms and tight corners
• Lightweight 1.2 lb design for easy repositioning
• Tight weave reduces gaps so small trash stays inside
• Neutral color blends with multiple decor schemes

Is the basket durable and suitable for daily use?

Although crafted from natural water hyacinth, the basket features a dense, even weave that stands up to routine use. Its construction allows brief handling of damp items if promptly dried, but it’s not intended for prolonged exposure to moisture.

• Handwoven with durable water hyacinth fibers
• Sturdy rim and uniform weave for structural stability
• Best for dry waste and lightweight storage tasks
• Handmade variance (±0.25") reflects artisanal quality

Can this basket serve purposes beyond a trash can?

Yes — its attractive weave and compact size make it a useful multipurpose container. Use it as a small laundry holder, magazine or toy catch-all, umbrella stand for compact umbrellas, or decorative planter cover (with a liner).

• Convert to a bedside laundry basket for delicates
• Store magazines, mail, or craft supplies neatly
• Double as a decorative cover for small potted plants (use liner)
• Works well in RVs and dorm rooms where space is limited

How does choosing this product impact the environment?

The Coeusy basket is made from biodegradable water hyacinth, an eco-friendly alternative to plastic. Selecting hand-crafted natural materials reduces plastic demand and supports more sustainable home goods when compared to disposable, synthetic options.

• Made from renewable, naturally decomposable water hyacinth fibers
• Handmade production generally uses less industrial processing
• Compact size limits material use and shipping footprint
• Handcrafted variation underscores low-waste artisanal methods

Who is this for? The Coeusy wicker waste basket is ideal for anyone who wants functional waste containment in small spaces without sacrificing style — renters, tiny-home residents, dorm students, RV travelers, and homeowners decorating bathrooms, bedrooms, or offices. If you prefer natural textures over plastic and need a lightweight, attractive container for dry trash or tidy storage, this 2-gallon water hyacinth basket offers a simple, sustainable solution.
