CODIEKEY 24g CO2 Cartridges for Life Jacket Rearming — 2-Pack with Indicator Clips & Soluble Spools

CODIEKEY 24-gram CO₂ cartridges are compact, threaded gas cylinders designed to quickly rearm and inflate compatible inflatable lifejackets and PFDs.

Keeping an inflatable personal flotation device ready means having the right rearming components on hand. This 2-pack from CODIEKEY supplies two 24 g CO₂ cylinders plus the indicator clips and water-soluble spools commonly needed to reset both manual and automatic inflating jackets. The cartridges use a 1/2" threaded opening so they fit a wide range of valves and rearming assemblies used in marine activities like fishing, surfing, boating, and shore work.

How do these cartridges fit and install into my life vest?

Each cartridge has a standard 1/2" thread designed for straightforward rotation into most rearming devices. Installation requires seating the cartridge in the inflator head and securing it by hand or with the device's closure mechanism; no tools are typically required. Replace used cartridges after discharge or if a jacket indicates rearming is needed.

• 1/2" threaded opening for broad compatibility
• Hand-tighten installation; follow your PFD manual for torque guidance
• Includes green indicator clips and yellow water-soluble line spools for auto/manual systems

When should I replace these CO₂ cylinders and components?

Replace cartridges after any inflation event or when a manufacturer’s inspection schedule indicates rearming. Even unopened cartridges should be checked periodically for dents, corrosion, or damage that could affect performance. Keep replacements accessible in your safety kit to ensure quick rearming on the water.

• Replace after discharge or visible damage
• Inspect periodically for dents, rust, or seal issues
• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight

Which lifejackets and inflators are compatible with these cartridges?

CODIEKEY 24 g cartridges are made to fit many inflatable lifejackets that accept 1/2" threaded cylinders, including models listed by manufacturers that reference 24 g CO₂ rearming parts. They are specified as compatible with models 3042C and C3042C and work with most PFD inflator heads using the same thread standard.

• Compatibility with lifejackets using 1/2" threaded valves
• Specifically compatible with models 3042C and C3042C
• Designed for both manual and automatic inflator mechanisms

What comes in the kit and what should I expect in use?

The CODIEKEY pack contains two 24 g CO₂ cartridges, two green indicator clips to show the device is armed, and two yellow water-soluble spools used for automatic activation lines. The kit provides the basic items needed to rearm many jackets after activation; follow your jacket’s rearming instructions to complete the process safely and correctly.
