Clorox ColorLoad Non-Chlorine Bleach Laundry Additive, 2-Pack (2×60 oz) — Oxygen-Based Stain Remover, Septic-Safe

Clorox ColorLoad Non-Chlorine Bleach is an oxygen-based laundry additive that lifts tough stains from colored and white fabrics while being chlorine-free and septic-safe.

Use this formula when you want stain-fighting power without the harsh fumes or fading risk associated with chlorine bleach. Clorox ColorLoad uses oxygen-based chemistry to break up common household stains like coffee, red wine, oily foods and mud, enhancing your regular detergent so garments look cleaner and colors stay vibrant. The biodegradable ingredients make it compatible with most plumbing and septic systems when used as directed.

How does Clorox ColorLoad remove stains without harming color?

The product relies on oxygen bleaching agents that separate stain molecules rather than oxidizing dyes the way chlorine bleach does. That lets it target food, dirt and organic stains while preserving fabric hue and pattern integrity when used properly.

• Oxygen-based active ingredients break bonds in stain molecules.
• Formulated to avoid bleaching dyes in colored garments.
• Works in both whites and colored loads to boost detergent performance.

Can I use Clorox ColorLoad in my washer and on delicate fabrics?

This bleach is compatible with standard and high-efficiency machines and is generally safe for most washable fabrics labeled as colorfast. Always check garment care labels and test an inconspicuous area for delicate or specialty textiles before full use.

• Safe for use in HE and conventional washers.
• Suitable for most colorfast fabrics; avoid prolonged soaking on delicate fibers.
• Follow garment care labels and product directions for best results.

What kinds of stains does it work best on and how should I use it?

Clorox ColorLoad targets organic and common household stains: coffee, wine, grease, and mud respond well when treated in a regular wash cycle. For heavy stains, add according to label dosing or pre-treat as recommended, then wash with your usual detergent for an enhanced clean.

• Effective on coffee, red wine, greasy food spots, and dirt.
• Add to the washer with detergent for general cleaning boost.
• Use label-recommended amounts; rinse and air-dry per garment instructions.

Is Clorox ColorLoad safe for my septic system and the environment?

The formula is designed to biodegrade and is labeled safe for plumbing and septic systems when used as instructed. It avoids chlorine chemistry, reducing the risk of harsh fumes and some environmental concerns tied to traditional bleach.

• Biodegradable cleaning ingredients that break down after disposal.
• Non-chlorine formulation reduces strong odors and chlorine residues.
• Approved for use with standard plumbing and septic setups under normal use.

Who is this for? Clorox ColorLoad Non-Chlorine Bleach is aimed at households that need reliable stain removal but prefer a gentler, color-safe alternative to chlorine bleach. It's a good choice for families, renters, or anyone with mixed loads of colored and white garments who wants stronger cleaning without risking color loss or introducing harsh bleach fumes into their laundry routine.
