CITRUCEL Powder Fiber Therapy methylcellulose powder, 30 oz orange flavor — gentle bulk-forming relief, low gas

This 30 oz container supplies a soluble, non-fermentable fiber that mixes into water or juice to support regularity. Each rounded tablespoon delivers 2 grams of methylcellulose plus calcium and potassium, and the formula is designed for adults and children as young as six when dosed appropriately. Results typically appear between 12 and 72 hours when taken as directed.

How do I prepare and take CITRUCEL Powder for best results?

Measure the recommended dose and dissolve it in at least 8 ounces of water or juice, stirring briskly and drinking immediately. Use at the first sign of irregularity for fastest relief, and adjust timing so you can stay hydrated throughout the day.

• Adults and children 12+: 1 rounded tablespoon, up to three times daily.
• Children 6–11: 2.5 level teaspoons, up to three times daily.
• Mix each dose into ≥8 oz (about 240 mL) of liquid and drink promptly.
• Expect effects generally within 12–72 hours when used as directed.

What ingredients are in CITRUCEL and why do they matter?

The active ingredient is methylcellulose, a soluble, non-fermentable fiber that absorbs water to form a gentle bulk. Unlike fermentable fibers, methylcellulose is less likely to produce excess gas, and the powder also contributes small amounts of calcium and potassium per dose.

• 2 g methylcellulose per rounded tablespoon for bulk-forming action.
• 80 mg calcium and 110 mg potassium per rounded tablespoon.
• Non-fermentable characteristic minimizes gas compared with some fibers.
• Orange flavor to improve palatability when mixed in liquids.

When can I expect to notice changes in my bowel habits after taking this powder?

Timing varies by individual, but typical responses occur within 12 to 72 hours after a proper dose. Start using the powder at the first sign of constipation or irregularity for the most predictable timing.

• Usual onset: 12–72 hours after ingestion.
• Consistent dosing up to three times daily may produce more regular outcomes.
• Maintain adequate fluid intake to support the fiber’s action.
• Individual experiences may vary; consult a healthcare provider for persistent issues.
