CeraVe Intensive Moisturizing Cream for Very Dry Skin, 19 oz — Shea Butter & 5% Hydro‑Urea™ for Long‑Lasting Hydration

CeraVe Intensive Moisturizing Cream is a rich, dermatologist-developed body cream formulated to deliver long-lasting hydration and help restore the skin’s protective barrier. This 19 oz tub combines three essential ceramides, shea butter and a 5% Hydro‑Urea™ complex to deeply hydrate dry, very dry, and extra dry skin. Designed from research into barrier health, the formula aims to reduce flaking and itch related to dryness while improving skin smoothness and radiance with twice-daily use. Fragrance-free, allergy-tested and pH-balanced, it’s made to be non-comedogenic and suitable for a wide range of skin types, including sensitive skin.

How quickly will I notice softer, less flaky skin?

Many users report measurable improvements in roughness and flaking within a week when applied twice daily. The blend of Hydro‑Urea™ and shea butter penetrates surface layers to add moisture while ceramides help lock that moisture in.

• Clinically assessed improvement in flaking and roughness after one week of twice-daily use*
• 5% Hydro‑Urea™ targets moisture in the outer skin layers for deep softening
• Shea butter adds immediate emollient feel and softness

What makes this different from regular body lotions?

This formula is thicker and more occlusive than typical lotions, designed specifically for very dry to extra dry skin. It pairs a high concentration of moisturizing factors with ceramides to support barrier repair rather than only providing surface moisture.

• More concentrated, emollient texture for long-lasting wear
• Three essential ceramides work to restore and maintain the skin barrier
• Non-comedogenic and fragrance-free for sensitive skin compatibility

How should I apply it for the best results?

For optimal hydration, smooth the cream over clean skin twice daily or as directed by your physician. Focus on areas prone to dryness and apply liberally; the occlusive nature helps preserve moisture between applications.

• Use on damp skin after bathing to help seal in moisture
• Apply generously to elbows, knees, hands and feet for targeted relief
• Twice-daily routine recommended for sustained 72-hour hydration benefits

Is it safe for sensitive or acne-prone skin?

The product is formulated to be allergy-tested, fragrance-free and pH-balanced, reducing common irritants for sensitive skin. It is also labeled non-comedogenic, so it’s intended not to clog pores, though patch testing is recommended if you have very acne-prone skin.

• Allergy-tested and fragrance-free to minimize irritation risk
• Non-comedogenic formulation to help avoid pore blockage
• Developed with dermatologists and suitable for a range of skin types

Who is this for? This 19 oz CeraVe Intensive Moisturizing Cream is aimed at people with dry to extra dry skin who need a richer, longer-lasting moisturizer than standard lotions provide. It’s a good choice for those dealing with seasonal dryness, rough patches, or anyone looking to support their skin barrier with ceramides and concentrated moisturizing ingredients. If you want a fragrance-free, dermatologist-developed cream that emphasizes barrier restoration and sustained hydration, this product is formulated to meet those needs.
