Cat's Pride Antibacterial Scented Clumping Cat Litter, 18 lb — Lightweight, Instant-Clump Odor Control

Cat's Pride Antibacterial Scented Litter (18 lb) is a lightweight clay litter that kills 99.9% of odor-causing bacteria and forms instant, easy-to-scoop clumps for lasting odor control.

Designed for cat owners who want a cleaner, more manageable litter box routine, this scented antibacterial formula combines strong clumping performance with bacterial odor reduction in a bag that’s about 40% lighter than many traditional scoopable litters. The clay base locks moisture into firm clumps for fast removal while the antibacterial additive targets odor-causing bacteria, helping maintain a fresher home environment. Cat's Pride also supports shelters through its Litter for Good program, donating one pound of litter for every bag sold.

How quickly does this litter stop smells in a busy household?

The antibacterial component is formulated to neutralize 99.9% of odor-causing bacteria, and the clay clumping action traps moisture and odors immediately on contact. For multi-cat homes, frequent scooping plus the litter’s instant-clump response helps reduce lingering smells between cleanings.

• Antibacterial action reduces bacterial odor sources.
• Instant, tight clumps make daily scooping efficient.
• Scented finish adds a fresh layer of odor-masking.
• Works best with routine scooping and periodic full litter replacement.

Will this litter make scooping and handling easier for me?

Yes — the 18 lb bag is formulated to be roughly 40% lighter than many conventional clumping litters, so carrying, pouring, and storing are less strenuous. The clay’s reliable clumping forms dense scoopable masses that minimize tracked residue and break apart less during removal.

• 40% lighter bag reduces lifting and spills.
• Strong clumps cut down on crumbling while scooping.
• Fewer loose particles mean less litter tracking outside the box.
• Uniform granules for consistent scooping performance.

Is the scented formula safe and suitable for my cat?

The product is a clay-based litter with a light scent and an antibacterial ingredient designed to target odor-causing bacteria, not the cat. Most cats adapt easily, but if your cat is scent-sensitive, try gradually introducing the new litter or mixing it with their current litter.

• Clay mineral base with natural color variations may occur.
• Light fragrance for added freshness — monitor cat comfort.
• Antibacterial feature focuses on bacteria, not pets.
• Recommended to transition slowly for scent-sensitive cats.
