Carex Toilet Seat Riser — Elongated 3.5" Raised Toilet Seat, Bolt-On, Fits Most Elongated Bowls, 300 lb Capacity

Carex Toilet Seat Riser is an elongated bolt-on seat elevator that increases toilet height by 3.5 inches to make sitting and standing easier without replacing your entire bowl.

This raised toilet seat installs beneath your existing elongated toilet seat and securely fastens with the original bolts, adding a comfortable 3.5 inches of height. It’s designed to fit most elongated toilets, supports users up to 300 pounds, and provides a simple, low-cost way to improve bathroom accessibility without major modifications.

How does this riser install on my current toilet?

Installation is straightforward and requires only a few minutes and basic tools. The riser is positioned under your existing seat, aligned with the bolt holes, and secured with the same toilet seat hardware.

• Fits most elongated toilet bowls and seats.
• Three-step installation typically done in under five minutes.
• Uses standard bolt locations—no drilling or adhesives needed.
• Removable if you want to revert to original seat height.

Will this raise feel comfortable and stable during use?

The Carex riser is contoured for seating comfort and engineered to maintain stability under normal use. It adds height without shifting the familiar seat footprint, letting users sit more easily while keeping the original seat’s shape.

• Ergonomic elongated shape matches common elongated seats.
• Non-hinged solid design minimizes movement.
• Supports up to 300 pounds for everyday stability.
• Smooth surface is easy to clean and maintain.

What measurements and compatibility should I check before buying?

Measure your toilet to confirm it’s an elongated bowl and check bolt spacing for standard seats. This riser is intended for elongated toilets; it will not fit round bowls designed with a shorter seat length.

• Adds 3.5 inches to the existing seat height—confirm this is the amount you need.
• Designed for elongated bowl shape; measure front-to-back length if unsure.
• Uses existing seat bolts, so inspect bolts for wear and replace if needed.
• Not hinged—remains fixed under the seat for continuous elevation.

How do I care for and clean the elevated seat?

Clean the riser with mild soap and water and avoid abrasive cleaners or scrubbers that could damage the surface. Regular cleaning helps maintain hygiene and appearance while protecting the seat material.

• Use non-abrasive cleaners and a soft cloth.
• Avoid bleach-based or highly acidic products to prevent surface wear.
• Wipe dry after cleaning to prevent water spots.
• Inspect mounting bolts periodically and tighten if necessary.
