Capture Carpet & Rug Dry Cleaner Powder 4 lb — No-Rinse Deodorizer & Fast-Acting Refresh

Capture Carpet & Rug Dry Cleaner is a fast-acting, powdered deodorizer and dry-cleaning formula designed to lift dirt, neutralize odors, and refresh carpets and rugs without water.

Capture’s 4 lb dry cleaner powder is engineered for households and vehicles that need a quick, no-rinse refresh of soft surfaces. This granular formula soaks up soils and odors where wet treatments can leave moisture that causes re-soiling or wicking. Safe for a wide range of fibers, Capture offers a straightforward routine—sprinkle, agitate, and vacuum—to restore appearance and aroma in minutes.

How does Capture remove stains and smells without water?

The powder works by physically absorbing oils, soils, and odor molecules into its granules. Rather than dissolving soils with moisture, Capture traps them so they can be removed by vacuuming, reducing the risk of residue or reappearing spots.

• Absorbent dry granules pick up oils and particulate soils.
• Neutralizes odors instead of masking them.
• No steaming or deep extraction required for routine refreshes.

What types of carpets and surfaces are safe to use it on?

Capture is formulated to be gentle enough for many fabric types while still effective on common household soils. It is appropriate for carpets, area rugs, upholstery, and vehicle interiors, including delicate fibers when used according to directions.

• Suitable for synthetic and many natural fibers, including wool and code S fabrics.
• Safe for upholstery, sofas, and car interiors when tested in a discreet spot first.
• Contains no bleach or harsh solvents, reducing fiber damage risk.

How do I apply Capture for best results?

Application is simple and designed for at-home use. For heavily soiled areas, pre-treating with a compatible pre-mist will loosen soils before the powder absorbs them; otherwise, sprinkle, work in gently, wait briefly, then vacuum.

• Optional: spray Capture Pre-Mist (sold separately) on the stain.
• Evenly sprinkle powder over the area, brush lightly to work in.
• Allow time for absorption, then vacuum thoroughly to remove residue.

How much area does one 4 lb pail cover and how often should I use it?

A single 4 lb container is concentrated for multiple touch-ups around the home or in vehicles. Frequency depends on traffic and pet activity; periodic spot treatments and seasonal refreshes keep fabrics looking and smelling better.

• One 4 lb pail can refresh up to approximately 400 square feet under typical conditions.
• Use more frequently in high-traffic or pet areas, less for occasional maintenance.
• Great for quick deodorizing between deep-clean cycles.

Who is this for? Capture Carpet & Rug Dry Cleaner is aimed at homeowners, renters, pet owners, and auto detailers who want a fast, water-free solution to lift soils and neutralize odors without professional equipment. If you prefer do-it-yourself maintenance that preserves fabric integrity and avoids wet extraction, this powder provides a convenient, safe option for routine upkeep and spot treatments.
