CAP Adjustable Dumbbell Set 40 lb — Vinyl-Coated Cement Plates, 14" Iron Handles

The CAP 40 LB Adjustable Cement Dumbbell Set is a two-handle, plate-loadable free-weight system with vinyl-coated cement plates that lets you change resistance quickly for a wide range of home workouts.

Designed for small spaces and budget-friendly home gyms, this set delivers progressive resistance without the need for multiple fixed dumbbell pairs. It includes two 14-inch iron handles, four collars, four 2.5 lb and four 7.5 lb vinyl-coated cement plates, plus a workout chart to help structure sessions. The PE/vinyl-style coating protects the cement core from moisture and reduces surface scuffs, while the plate-loadable format makes it simple to alter weight between sets.

How easy is it to change weight between exercises?

Switching resistance takes only seconds thanks to the plate-loaded design and screw-on collars. This agility supports circuit training and supersets without a lot of downtime.

• Includes four collars that secure plates to the 14-inch handles
• Mix 2.5 lb and 7.5 lb plates to create intermediate increments
• Simple hand-tighten collars let you add/remove plates quickly

What exercises can I do with this adjustable set?

The dumbbells cover a broad range of compound and isolation moves for upper and lower body work. From standing curls to goblet squats, the set supports both strength-building and muscle-toning routines.

• Upper body: curls, presses, rows, lateral raises
• Lower body: squats, lunges, Romanian deadlifts
• Core and conditioning: weighted sit-ups, farmer-style carries

How durable and rust-resistant are the plates?

The plates use a PE/vinyl-style coating that isolates the cement interior from moisture and reduces surface wear compared with uncoated cement. The iron handles provide sturdy load-bearing support, and the coating helps extend the visual life of the plates.

• Vinyl-like coating resists moisture and chipping
• Cement core offers cost-effective mass for each plate
• 14-inch iron handles designed for repeated loading and unloading

Will this set fit in small apartments or garages?

Yes — the adjustable, plate-loaded format replaces multiple fixed pairs, making it a space-efficient option for compact workout areas. Store the plates together on a shelf or in a small bin when not in use.

• One pair of handles replaces several fixed-weight dumbbells
• Plates stack neatly for compact storage
• Light enough for easy transport between rooms or to a garage
