Styled for everyday carry, the ELPH 360 HS fits into a jacket pocket or small bag while offering more optical reach and image quality than a smartphone. What photo quality can I expect from this compact Canon?

The ELPH 360 HS uses a 20.2 megapixel CMOS sensor and Canon’s DIGIC 4+ processor to deliver detailed images with natural color rendering. Low‑light performance benefits from the sensor‑processor pair and the camera’s image stabilization, reducing blur in dim conditions.

• DIGIC 4+ processor for faster image handling and color processing.
• Intelligent IS plus Optical Image Stabilizer to minimize motion blur.

How far can the zoom reach and how steady will shots be?

The built‑in 12x optical zoom gives a versatile range from wide scenes to close subject framing without digital cropping. Optical Image Stabilizer helps keep telephoto shots steady, and Intelligent IS adapts stabilization to shooting conditions like panning or low light.

• 12x optical zoom for tight portraits and near telephoto framing.
• Optical Image Stabilizer reduces handshake blur at long focal lengths.
• Intelligent IS chooses the best stabilization mode automatically.

What video and creative features does the camera offer?

You can record Full HD 1080p movies on the ELPH 360 HS and watch them back on the bright 3.0‑inch LCD. Hybrid Auto records a short video clip before each still shot and Story Highlights can automatically assemble those clips and photos into a short highlight reel.

• 1080p Full HD movie recording for clear video footage.
• Hybrid Auto captures a four‑second clip prior to each still image.
• Story Highlights merges clips and photos into a quick, shareable movie.

How does sharing and connectivity work with my phone?

Built‑in Wi‑Fi and NFC let you pair the camera with compatible smartphones and tablets for fast transfer of images and videos. Use the Canon mobile app to browse, download, and share content or to remotely trigger the camera from your phone.

• Wi‑Fi for wireless transfer of photos and videos to mobile devices.
• NFC for one‑tap pairing with supported phones and tablets.
• Remote capture and simple browsing through the Canon mobile app.
