Canon PIXMA TR160 Wireless Color Portable Printer — Compact, Battery-Ready, Borderless Photo Printing

The Canon PIXMA TR160 is a compact wireless color printer built for mobile professionals who need crisp documents and vivid borderless photos from almost anywhere.

Small enough to slide into a bag yet powerful enough to produce sharp black text and rich color output, the PIXMA TR160 combines Canon imaging technology with simple wireless workflows. It supports direct printing from smartphones, tablets, computers, and cloud services, and accepts an optional battery for untethered use. The 1.44" monochrome OLED keeps status clear while a five-color hybrid ink system delivers detailed prints up to 8.5" x 11" — including borderless photos and marketing materials.

How easy is it to print from a phone or tablet?

Printing from mobile devices is streamlined: use the Canon PRINT app, Apple AirPrint, or Mopria Print Service to send jobs over Wi‑Fi. Wireless Direct mode also lets you connect a device to the printer without a network, which is handy for quick on-site prints.

• Canon PRINT app for iOS and Android direct control
• Apple AirPrint and Mopria compatibility for native mobile printing
• Wireless Direct for router-free connections
• Cloud printing support for files stored online

What kinds of projects can the TR160 handle while traveling?

Despite its compact size, the TR160 produces a variety of materials: crisp documents, promotional flyers, one-sheets, and borderless photos up to letter size. The five-color hybrid ink system balances sharp monochrome text with vibrant color output for small marketing runs or client proofs on the go.

• Borderless photo printing up to 8.5" x 11"
• High-contrast text for professional-looking documents
• Vivid color for flyers and sales materials
• Support for custom templates stored on the device

How portable and battery-ready is the PIXMA TR160?

The TR160 is designed with mobility in mind: a light footprint fits into backpacks or briefcases and an optional battery pack enables printing without mains power. Its streamlined chassis and minimal controls make it quick to set up in temporary workspaces, events, or client locations.

• Compact, lightweight chassis for easy transport
• Optional battery available for cordless printing
• 1.44" OLED for on-device status without a larger control panel
• Fits in a bag with space left for accessories and documents

What controls and convenience features help when time is tight?

An intuitive interface and built-in storage for up to five custom templates streamline repeat tasks like printing forms or price sheets. The monochrome OLED shows ink levels and status at a glance so you can troubleshoot quickly without hunting through menus.

• Store up to five custom templates on the printer
• 1.44" OLED shows ink levels, connectivity, and errors
• Simple front-panel controls for fast operation
• Compatible with cloud services for remote document access
