Cabiclean Replacement Filters for PETLIBRO Dockstream Cat Fountain PLWF106 — 25-Pack Cartridges + 25 Sponges, Carbon & Ion Exchang

Cabiclean replacement filters for the PETLIBRO Dockstream PLWF106 deliver a multi-stage purification system that keeps your cat's fountain water cleaner, clearer, and better-tasting.

These replacement cartridges and pre-filter sponges are engineered for PETLIBRO Dockstream automatic cat fountains (models PLWF106, PLWF116, PLWF115, PLWF105, PLWF005) to remove odors, trap hair and debris, and reduce dissolved heavy metals. Sold as a value bundle with 25 individual replacement filters plus 25 pre-filter sponges, this pack is intended to provide a steady supply of fresh water for about a year when changed regularly. The components are simple to install, pre-soak before first use, and are made with responsibly sourced paper in the filtration layers.

How do these replacement filters improve water quality for my cat?

The Cabiclean filters use a vertical, multi-layer design that addresses several common contaminants and nuisances at once, without altering the fountain’s flow. Activated carbon helps neutralize odors and organic tastes, while ion exchange resin reduces metal ions that can affect water flavor. Layers of non-woven fabric and a dedicated pump sponge capture hair and particulates to protect the pump and maintain circulation.

• Activated carbon for odor and taste control
• Ion exchange resin to reduce heavy-metal ions
• Non-woven fabric to trap fur and debris
• Pump sponge to prevent clogs and extend pump life

How often should I replace the filter and pre-filter sponge?

For consistent performance, Cabiclean recommends swapping the replacement filter every two weeks and replacing or rinsing the pre-filter sponge more frequently if you notice visible buildup. Before first use, soak the filter for five minutes and give it a thirty-second rinse to remove loose dust from manufacturing. Weekly cleaning of the fountain and pump helps maintain optimal flow and prevents odor or algae buildup.

• Soak new filter 5 minutes; rinse 30 seconds before installing
• Replace main filter every two weeks under normal use
• Rinse or replace pre-filter sponge weekly or when dirty
• Clean fountain and pump at least once a week

They are sized and shaped to match the original cartridges so installation is straightforward and seals correctly to avoid bypass.
