C&S Sweet Corn Squirrelog Refill — 2 lb Hangable Squirrel Corn Log, Low-Mess Durable

C&S Sweet Corn Squirrelog Refill is a dense, ready-to-hang 2-pound corn log that supplies wild squirrels with a long-lasting, low-mess food source.

Bring lively squirrel activity to your yard without the constant refills and spilled kernels that come with loose corn. This compact refill replaces many ears of corn and is designed to anchor in place while squirrels climb, chew, and feed. The Squirrelog format reduces waste beneath feeders, helps protect bird feeding stations, and provides steady nutrition that keeps local squirrels occupied. C&S has produced trusted wild bird and wildlife feeding products since 1986, and this refill reflects that focus on durability, convenience, and backyard enjoyment.

How does this refill reduce mess in my yard?

The dense log form keeps most of the feed contained so kernels and loose pieces don’t scatter across the ground like bagged corn or loose seed. Because the squirrels gnaw directly from the log, there’s less debris and fewer waste piles under feeding spots.

• Solid log reduces spillage compared with loose feed.
• Designed to hang or mount, minimizing ground contact.
• Less clean-up needed beneath feeders and decks.

Will one 2-pound Squirrelog actually last longer than loose corn?

Yes. The compact, dense composition provides a steady food source that stretches far beyond the lifespan of scattered ears or kernels. One Squirrelog can substitute for many individual ears of corn, offering longer feeding sessions between replacements.

• Each log replaces roughly 12–24 ears of corn.
• Dense consistency slows consumption compared with loose feed.
• Less frequent refills save time and money over a season.

How easy is it to set up and use the refill?

The Squirrelog comes ready to use — simply unwrap and hang or place where squirrels can reach it safely. No measuring, mixing, or scattering required, making it ideal for users who want a hassle-free option to supplement backyard wildlife.

• Ready-to-hang right from the package.
• Simple placement options: hooks, branches, or specialty holders.
• Portable and easy to move to different feeding spots.

Will it keep squirrels away from my bird feeders?

Providing squirrels their own dedicated treat helps redirect their attention away from bird feeders and seed stations. While results vary with local populations and individual animals, many people find squirrels less inclined to raid bird feeders when they have a satisfying alternative.

• Dedicated squirrel food reduces competition at bird feeders.
• Entertains squirrels so they’re less likely to forage nearby bird stations.
• Helps maintain cleaner, more consistent bird feeding areas.
