BugMD moth traps for clothes & pantry – 6-pack pre-baited pheromone traps with long-lasting sticky boards (green)

BugMD Clothes & Pantry Moth Traps are pre-baited, pheromone-infused sticky boards designed to lure and capture both clothes moths and pantry moths in closets, cabinets, and storage areas without using toxic sprays.

Protecting fabrics and dry goods from moth damage starts with early detection and continuous trapping. BugMD combines species-specific synthetic pheromones with a long-lasting adhesive on discreet green boards so you can monitor and reduce moth activity in wardrobes, drawers, pantries, and pet food storage. Each pack contains six ready-to-use traps split between clothes-moth and pantry-moth formulations to address infestations where they begin, minimizing the need for aromatic repellents or chemical treatments.

How do these traps stop moths in closets and cupboards?

The traps use female-moth-mimicking pheromones to attract male moths, drawing them onto a strong, non-drying adhesive so they cannot escape. This interrupts breeding and gives you a clear visual indicator of activity levels so you can act early.

• Pre-baited pheromone lures specific to clothes moths or pantry moths.
• High-tack green adhesive designed to stay effective for weeks.
• Flat boards that fit behind hangers, inside drawers, or on pantry shelves.
• Visible catch reporting lets you know when to replace traps.

Will these traps harm my family, pets, or stored food?

BugMD traps are non-toxic and rely on scent lures plus adhesive rather than insecticides, so they’re safe to place around children and pets when positioned out of direct reach. They do not release chemicals into the air or contact stored food when used as directed.

• No fumigants, no sprays, and no mothballs required.
• Place traps on shelves or hang behind clothes—avoid direct contact with food packaging.
• Ideal for pantries, pet-food corners, closets, and storage bins.
• Dispose of used traps in household waste; replace when adhesive fills.

How long do the sticky boards stay effective and where should I put them?

Each trap is formulated for extended adhesion and scent longevity, remaining active for multiple weeks depending on temperature and airflow. For best results, position traps evenly across problem zones and replace them as catches accumulate or when adhesive effectiveness decreases.

• Expected active life: several weeks under normal indoor conditions.
• Place one trap every 3–6 feet in large closets or pantry rows for accurate monitoring.
• Avoid placing directly on damp surfaces; keep away from direct sunlight.
• Use in combination with cleaning and sealed storage for fabrics and dry goods.

What additional steps help prevent moth damage alongside traps?

Traps are most effective when paired with routine housekeeping and proper storage practices. Removing infested items, washing fabrics, vacuuming crevices, and switching to sealed containers for dry foods reduce breeding sites and sources of larvae.

• Wash or dry-clean garments and launder linens before long-term storage.
• Store grains, flours, and pet foods in airtight containers to deny pantry moths food sources.
• Vacuum closet floors, shelves, and behind baseboards to remove eggs and larvae.
• Use traps as ongoing monitoring to detect new activity early.
