BRUTUS & BARNABY Sweet Potato Dog Treats Half Slices, 14 oz — 100% U.S. single-ingredient, hearty long-lasting chews

BRUTUS & BARNABY Dried Sweet Potato Half Slices are single-ingredient, USA-grown treats that offer a hearty, naturally sweet chew for dogs of all sizes.

These 14 oz bags contain thick, half-sliced sweet potatoes grown in North Carolina and processed in a registered, SQF-certified U.S. facility. Made from one simple ingredient with no glycerin, fillers, or preservatives, the treats are intended for dogs who benefit from limited-ingredient snacks. The slices are firmer and more substantial than thin dehydrated chips, giving dogs a longer-lasting chew while owners get a traceable supply chain from farm to bag.

What makes these sweet potato half slices different from other chews?

These treats are produced from whole, freshly harvested sweet potatoes rather than reconstituted or imported bases. The thicker half-slice cut provides a denser chew experience and more texture variety from batch to batch because of seasonal produce differences.

• Single-ingredient: 100% U.S. sweet potato
• Processed in an FDA-registered, SQF-certified facility
• Thicker, heartier half slices for longer chew times
• Seasonal texture variation—no artificial uniformity

How do these treats fit dogs with food sensitivities or picky digestion?

Because the treats contain only one ingredient—U.S.-grown sweet potato—they minimize exposure to common allergens and additives. That simplicity can make them easier to introduce into an elimination diet or to use as a limited-ingredient snack for sensitive pets.

• No fillers, preservatives, or glycerin
• Hypoallergenic single-ingredient option
• Suitable as a reward for dogs with known sensitivities
• Pairs well with veterinarian guidance for dietary testing

Will the texture be the same every bag and which dogs enjoy them most?

Texture and firmness vary naturally by season because whole sweet potatoes are used without texturizing additives. Expect firmer, heartier pieces overall—great for medium and large dogs, while many small dogs still enjoy the chew in moderation.

• Naturally variable texture due to fresh produce
• Thicker cut offers a longer-lasting chew for medium to large breeds
• Breakable pieces work well for small dogs or training rewards
• Soft-chew variant available for seniors and puppies

How should I serve and store these dried sweet potato treats?

Serve as a reward or occasional treat; monitor chewing to prevent accidental swallowing of large chunks. Store in a cool, dry place and reseal the bag after opening to maintain firmness and flavor.

• Ideal as training rewards or occasional chews
• Supervise pets while they chew
• Reseal bag and keep away from direct heat or humidity
• Use smaller pieces for small breeds or short chewers

Who is this for: Owners seeking a traceable, single-ingredient treat from U.S. farms, especially those whose dogs have food sensitivities or who prefer simpler, natural snacks. These half slices suit active dogs that enjoy a firmer chew, households wanting clear sourcing from farm to facility, and anyone who prefers additive-free treats. If your dog needs a gentler texture, consider the soft-chew BRUTUS & BARNABY variant made from the same premium sweet potatoes.
