BRITA Elite Faucet Water Filter System — Chrome, Faucet-Mounted with 2 Replaceable Carbon Filters

The BRITA Elite Chrome Faucet Water Filter System is a faucet-mounted purifier that delivers on-demand filtered water and comes with two replaceable carbon-block filters.

Compact and easy to use, this BRITA faucet filter attaches to most standard kitchen taps to reduce unpleasant tastes and odors while cutting dozens of common contaminants. Designed for everyday drinking and cooking, the unit gives you instant filtered water without the wait or need to refill pitchers. The package includes two filters and a chrome-finished mount that balances performance with low-profile style.

How does this filter improve tap water taste and safety?

The Elite uses BRITA’s Advanced Carbon-block filtration to capture particles and chemicals that affect flavor and clarity. It is certified to reduce chlorine taste and odor, and reduces up to 99% of lead where present in the source water. This results in cleaner-tasting water for drinking, coffee, and cooking.

• Advanced carbon-block media targets chlorine, odors and many organic compounds.
• Certified reduction of chlorine taste and odor; reduces 60+ contaminants in lab tests.
• Reduces up to 99% of lead where it occurs in the water supply.

How simple is installation and everyday use?

Installation requires no tools and takes only minutes, connecting directly to most traditional faucet spouts. The unit offers two spray modes—filtered stream and unfiltered spray—so you can choose filtered water for drinking and unfiltered when rinsing dishes. A built-in filter life indicator reminds you when replacement is due.

• Quick twist-on installation fits standard faucets (not compatible with pull-out or spray-style faucets).
• Two flow settings: filtered water for consumption, unfiltered for tasks like rinsing.
• Filter indicator signals replacement approximately every 100 gallons or four months.

What are the filter life, cost, and environmental benefits?

Each BRITA Elite filter treats about 100 gallons or roughly four months of average household use. The included two filters extend service to about eight months total, and replacing filters regularly maintains performance. Using this system can drastically lower reliance on bottled water, helping reduce plastic waste and recurring purchase costs.

• Each filter lasts ~100 gallons or ~4 months under typical use; two filters included.
• Replaces an estimated 1,800 single-use plastic bottles per year per household when regularly used.
• Filters are BPA-free and designed for straightforward replacement to sustain water quality.

Will this fit my sink setup and what maintenance does it need?

The BRITA Elite works with most standard, fixed kitchen faucets but is not compatible with pull-out, detachable, or spray-style tap heads. Maintenance is minimal: swap the cartridge when the indicator shows or after about 100 gallons, and occasionally wipe the chrome mount to keep it looking new.

• Compatible with standard threaded faucets; not for pull-out or spray-head faucets.
• Replace filter when the indicator alerts or after about four months/100 gallons.
• Wipe chrome finish periodically and avoid abrasive cleaners to protect appearance.

Who is this for: The BRITA Elite Chrome Faucet Water Filter System is ideal for households wanting immediate, on-tap filtered water without countertop appliances or frequent pitcher refills. It suits people who prioritize improved taste, reduced common contaminants (including lead), and a low-waste alternative to bottled water.
