Brightown G40 LED Replacement Bulbs, 25-Pack 2200K Warm White — E12 Base, Dimmable, IP44

Brightown G40 LED bulbs are warm 2200K, E12-base replacements designed to give patio and string lights a soft, vintage glow while using minimal energy.

These 25-pack G40 LED replacements from Brightown combine a low 0.6W power draw with a compact 1.5-inch globe to recreate the cozy amber look of classic filament bulbs without the heat and high electricity use. Built from shatter-resistant plastic, IP44-rated for weather resistance and UL listed, they’re made to handle year-round outdoor use on patios, pergolas, cafes and event setups. The bulbs are dimmable and screw into standard E12 candelabra sockets, making a full replacement straightforward for most plug-in string light systems.

How bright are these G40 bulbs compared with traditional bulbs?

The Brightown G40 LEDs produce light comparable to a 5W incandescent while consuming just 0.6W, delivering soft illumination suited for ambiance rather than task lighting. Expect gentle, warm output that enhances outdoor gatherings without overpowering the space.

• 0.6W power draw — roughly equal to a 5W incandescent in visible output
• 2200K color temperature for a deep warm-white, amber tone
• 1.5-inch globe size for a classic vintage appearance
• Not intended as primary task lighting; ideal for decorative ambient light

Will these bulbs survive outdoor conditions and heavy use?

Yes — Brightown designed these bulbs for outdoor durability. The plastic globe resists shattering, and the IP44 rating protects against splashing water and light rain, making them suitable for seasonal and many permanent outdoor installations.

• Durable plastic construction prevents breakage around kids and pets
• IP44 waterproof rating withstands rain, snow, and temperature changes
• 20,000+ hour rated lifespan reduces frequent replacements
• UL listed for safety in approved fixtures and applications

Are these bulbs compatible with my string lights and dimmer switches?

The bulbs use a standard E12 candelabra base and screw in easily to most 120V plug-in string light sockets. They are dimmable and compatible with many dimmer controls, but performance can vary depending on the dimmer model and wiring.

• Standard E12 base fits most candelabra sockets and string light sets
• Designed for 120V systems; not compatible with solar string lights
• Dimmable with most modern dimmers; test with your dimmer for smooth range
• 25-bulb pack provides a full replacement set plus spares

How do these bulbs save energy and maintenance time?

At 0.6W each and a lifespan exceeding 20,000 hours, Brightown G40 LEDs cut electricity consumption and reduce the frequency of bulb swaps. Lower energy use and the shatterproof design make them economical and lower-risk for busy or high-traffic outdoor spaces.

• Consumes approximately 85% less energy than comparable incandescent options
• 20,000+ hour life lowers replacement frequency and maintenance labor
• Plastic housings reduce breakage-related waste and safety hazards
• 25-pack keeps replacements on hand for quick refresh or extension projects

Who is this for? These Brightown G40 LED bulbs are ideal for homeowners, restaurateurs, event planners, and decorators who want a warm, vintage-style glow for patios, bistros, weddings, and outdoor dining areas without high energy bills or fragile glass bulbs. If you need ambient, dimmable lighting that withstands weather and reduces upkeep, this 25-pack provides a convenient, safe solution for most E12 string light applications.
