Boveda 69% Humidity Control Packs Size 60, 4-Pack — Two-Way, Maintenance-Free Moisture Protection

Boveda 69% RH Size 60 packs are single-step, two-way humidity control packets designed to maintain a stable 69% relative humidity for stored items.

Whether you store cigars, wooden instruments, herbs, or other moisture-sensitive goods, keeping a steady relative humidity (RH) prevents drying, swelling, and flavor loss. Boveda has over 25 years of experience engineering RH solutions; these Size 60 packs provide a maintenance-free option that doesn’t require distilled water, activation, or complicated devices. Each pack comes individually sealed and is easy to use inside humidors, cases, cedar boxes, or sealed containers.

How do I use a Size 60 Boveda pack with my humidor or storage box?

Using Boveda is simple: place the recommended number of packs inside your closed storage container along with a hygrometer if you want to monitor RH. The pack will add or absorb moisture to hold the environment at 69% without manual refilling or calibration. Replace the pack when it begins to harden and no longer feels pliable.

• Use one Size 60 pack for every 25 total stored items (general rule of thumb).
• For cigars: two Size 60 packs for every 50 cigars capacity.
• Keep packs sealed until use; one pack lasts up to four months depending on conditions.

What maintenance is required and how long will each pack last?

Boveda packs are maintenance-free: there’s no water to add and no charging needed. Lifespan varies with container tightness, how often it’s opened, and the local climate; under typical conditions a pack can remain effective for up to four months. When the packet becomes firm instead of soft and flexible, it’s time to replace it.

• No distilled water or refilling necessary.
• Individually overwrapped to preserve fresh output until use.
• Replace on noticeable hardening or after manufacturer-recommended time.

Will Boveda 69% RH Size 60 packs work in humid or dry climates?

Yes — Boveda’s two-way system automatically adds or removes moisture to reach 69% relative humidity, so it adapts to both dry and humid environments. Very extreme ambient conditions or frequent container openings will shorten pack life, but the system still aims to stabilize RH without user intervention. For particularly large or frequently accessed storage, use multiple packs or consider higher-capacity strategies.

• Two-way control adjusts for both moisture gain and loss.
• Multiple packs recommended for larger volumes or frequent access.
• Made in the U.S.A., ensuring consistent manufacturing standards.

Who is this for? Collectors, tobacconists, musicians, and anyone storing moisture-sensitive items who wants a hands-off humidity solution will appreciate Boveda Size 60 packs. They’re suited for personal humidors, travel cases, cedar boxes, and sealed containers where precise 69% RH helps preserve aroma, texture, and longevity without the fuss of refilling or complicated equipment.
