BougeRV 23-Quart Portable Refrigerator Freezer CR22, Grey — -8°F to 50°F, 12/24V Efficient Quiet

BougeRV CR22 is a 23‑quart compressor portable refrigerator and freezer that cools from -8°F to 50°F and runs efficiently on 12/24V vehicle power for road trips and camping.

If you need a small but capable fridge for SUVs, camper vans, trucks or boats, the BougeRV CR22 balances fast cooling, low power use and quiet operation. Its compressor system drops temperatures quickly without ice, the compact body fits limited space, and built‑in battery protection prevents vehicle drains while you travel.

How quickly will this fridge freeze or chill my food?

The CR22 uses compressor refrigeration to reach cold temperatures fast, so you don’t rely on ice packs. Typical performance includes a rapid drop from room temperature to refrigerator range in about 15 minutes and deeper cooling to near‑freezer levels within an hour.

• Fast cooling from 77°F to 32°F in about 15 minutes
• Reaches roughly -5°F from 77°F in about 50 minutes
• No ice required — keeps food and drinks chilled or frozen

How much vehicle power does it use and can it run off a car battery?

The unit is energy efficient, with ECO mode keeping typical consumption under 45W and a MAX setting around 60W. It’s designed for 12V/24V DC systems found in cars, trucks and RVs, and the smart cycle reduces energy draw over time.

• Operating power usually below 45W in ECO mode
• Peak consumption approximately 60W on MAX setting
• Works with 12V or 24V vehicle power and included DC cord

Will it run quietly and survive off‑road conditions?

The CR22 was built for travel: its compressor runs at low noise levels so it won’t disturb sleep in a camper or van. The chassis and internal mounts provide shock resistance and the fridge can operate safely on road inclines up to about 30 degrees.

• Low noise operation around 45dB for minimal disturbance
• Shock‑proof internal design for uneven roads and vibrations
• Works reliably with up to a 30° tilt during off‑road travel

How does the fridge protect my vehicle’s battery?

To avoid leaving you stranded, the CR22 includes a three‑level voltage cut‑off that stops operation before your battery is drained. You choose the voltage threshold so the fridge shuts off automatically when the vehicle battery reaches that preset level.

• Three battery protection levels to prevent deep discharge
• User selectable shutoff voltage for flexible protection
• Simple DC plug and monitoring for safe mobile use

The CR22 measures approximately 22.68 × 12.60 × 12.97 inches and weighs about 22.27 lb, making it compact and lightweight for packing into tight vehicle spaces. The package includes DC and AC power cords plus a user manual, and BougeRV provides two years of technical support for assistance and troubleshooting. Note: avoid placing the fridge in direct sunlight to prevent door deformation.

Who is this for? Adventurers, weekend campers, van‑lifers, boat owners and drivers who need a compact, fast‑cooling fridge that won’t heavily tax a vehicle battery. If you want reliable cooling for food, drinks and frozen goods during travel without hauling ice, the BougeRV CR22 is designed for compact spaces and mobile lifestyles.
