The Bonsaii 15-sheet cross-cut shredder delivers secure shredding of paper, credit cards, and CDs with up to 40 minutes of continuous run time and a 5‑gallon pull-out bin for easy cleanup.

Engineered for home offices and small businesses, this Bonsaii heavy-duty cross-cut shredder reduces documents to small particles for privacy protection while balancing capacity, runtime, and quiet operation. It shreds up to 15 sheets at once plus credit cards and CDs, runs for extended sessions thanks to a patented cooling design, and collects waste in a roomy, transparent pull-out drawer on swivel casters so you can reposition it without lifting.

How much can it shred at once and what materials does it handle?

This shredder accepts up to 15 standard sheets of paper per pass and cuts them into small cross-cut particles. It also takes credit cards, CDs/DVDs, and stapled documents, giving you flexibility for mixed-media disposal.

• Maximum single-feed: 15 sheets (standard copy paper)
• Cross-cut particle size: approximately 13/64" x 63/64"
• Also destroys credit cards and optical discs
• Staples and small paper clips accepted

Will it handle long shredding jobs without overheating?

The unit uses a patented cooling mechanism to allow up to 40 minutes of continuous shredding, sufficient for clearing large batches of paperwork. If the motor does overheat after extended use, it automatically shuts down and requires about 40 minutes to cool before resuming operation.

• Continuous runtime: up to 40 minutes per cycle
• Automatic overheat protection and shutdown
• Recommended cooling interval: approximately 40 minutes after shutdown
• Designed to shred roughly 2,900 sheets across extended sessions

How does it prevent jams and make operation simple?

Built-in auto start, stop, and reverse functions reduce the chance of paper jams and make recovery easy. Clear indicator lights show status for power, overload, and overheating so you can operate the machine confidently and perform routine maintenance when prompted.

• Auto start/stop for hassle-free shredding
• Reverse mode clears feed jams quickly
• LED indicators for overload and overheating alerts
• Simple controls and maintenance tips included in the manual

How big is the waste bin and how portable is the unit?

The pull-out waste drawer holds about 5 gallons of shredded material, roughly equating to 350 sheets of paper, and features a transparent window to monitor fill level. Four 360° swivel casters let you move the shredder easily around an office or home without lifting.

• Bin capacity: 5 gallons (about 350 sheets)
• Transparent viewing window for quick checks
• 360° swivel casters for effortless relocation
• Compact footprint suited to small office spaces
