Designed to simplify garden care, this 128 oz ready-to-use sprayer combines multiple modes of action in one bottle so you can treat pests, diseases and soil issues without mixing concentrates. The active ingredient is cold-pressed neem oil, a naturally derived, plant-based solution approved for organic gardening when used as directed. The product comes with an attached power sprayer wand for easy application and can be used as a foliar spray or soil drench across a wide range of ornamentals, edibles and indoor plants.

How does Captain Jack's Neem Max protect plants from insects?

Naturally derived neem oil works on insects at multiple life stages — disrupting feeding, growth and reproduction. It kills on contact and by ingestion, so eggs, larvae and adults can be affected when applied thoroughly to affected plant parts.

• Active ingredient: cold-pressed neem oil (plant-based).
• Controls aphids, beetles, caterpillars, mites, thrips, mealybugs and more.
• Effective on eggs, larvae and adult insects for broader lifecycle management.
• Apply at first sight of pests and reapply every 7–10 days as needed.

Can Neem Max help with fungal and other plant diseases?

Neem Max functions as a fungicide to help prevent and reduce common fungal problems when used proactively and at the first sign of disease. Regular, even coverage helps protect leaves and stems from mildew, blight and rust-like symptoms.

• Useful against powdery mildew, blight, rot, rust and scab.
• Apply to all visible plant surfaces to prevent infection before symptoms appear.
• Reapply every 10–14 days for disease prevention or until symptoms subside.
• Safe for use on many ornamentals and edible crops when directions are followed.

Where and how should I apply this ready-to-use spray?

The product is formulated for flexible use around the home and garden: apply outdoors, in greenhouses, shadehouses, interiorscapes and on hydroponic systems following label directions. It arrives ready to spray and includes a wand for targeted coverage; you can treat foliage directly or use it as a soil drench for root and nematode concerns.

• Apply as a foliar spray to leaves, stems and undersides where pests hide.
• Use as a soil drench for nematodes or root-zone issues.
• Shake well before use and cover all visible plant areas for best results.
• One gallon of the ready-to-use spray can cover up to 1,000 sq ft when applied properly.

How often should I treat my garden with Neem Max?

Frequency depends on the issue: pests typically require more frequent applications than disease prevention. Follow label guidance and adjust reapplication based on severity and environmental conditions.

• Pest control: reapply every 7–10 days or as needed after heavy pest pressure.
• Disease prevention: reapply every 10–14 days or when conditions favor fungal growth.
• Repeat applications until desired control is achieved, always following safety directions.
