Bodhi Dog Skunk Shampoo for Dogs & Cats — 16oz Concentrated Odor Neutralizer, Gentle Essential-Oil Formula

Bodhi Dog Skunk Shampoo is a 16oz, professional-strength, essential-oil formula designed to neutralize and remove skunk odor from dogs and cats while leaving a fresh scent.

When a curious pet gets sprayed, ordinary soaps often mask the stench instead of eliminating it. This concentrated shampoo blends mild detergents with a proprietary essential-oil mix to break down and neutralize skunk oils at the source. Formulated for all coat types and made in the USA, it aims to be safe for sensitive skin while delivering rapid deodorizing power.

How quickly will this shampoo remove skunk smell?

The shampoo begins breaking down odor molecules on contact and typically reduces detectable skunk scent after one thorough wash. Persistent or heavily soaked areas may need a second application for full neutralization.

• Starts working immediately on sprayed fur
• One wash often noticeably reduces odor
• Repeat treatment for heavily contaminated coats
• Rinse thoroughly to remove residue and odor compounds

Is this safe for pets with sensitive skin and different coat types?

Yes — the formula avoids bleach and harsh chemicals, relying on mild detergents and essential oils that are chosen for gentler cleansing. It’s suitable for short, long, curly, and fine coats; however, if your pet has an extreme allergy or compromised skin, consult your veterinarian first.

• No bleach or aggressive solvents
• Developed to be mild enough for sensitive skin
• Works on dogs and cats across coat textures
• Patch-test if your pet has known skin conditions

How do I use Bodhi Dog Skunk Shampoo for best results?

Wet the animal’s coat, apply shampoo, lather thoroughly into the areas affected by skunk residue, then rinse well. Towel-dry and brush once the coat is mostly dry; repeat the process if the smell persists.

• Wet coat completely before application
• Massage into a creamy lather, focusing on sprayed areas
• Rinse thoroughly to remove oils and residues
• Repeat if necessary and dry gently with a towel

What makes this shampoo a better choice than home remedies?

Unlike ad hoc mixtures, this product is formulated to neutralize odor molecules rather than simply covering them. It combines effective detergents with essential oils in a controlled, pet-safe concentration and is produced under consistent quality standards in the USA.

• Purpose-made to neutralize, not just mask, odors
• No improvised ingredients that can irritate skin
• Consistent, professional-strength formulation
• Proudly manufactured in the United States
