Bodhi Dog Bitter 2‑in‑1 No Chew & Hot Spot Spray 8 fl oz — Lemongrass Scented, Skin‑Safe Deterrent

Bodhi Dog Bitter 2‑in‑1 No Chew & Hot Spot Spray is a lemongrass‑scented, all‑natural spray that deters chewing while soothing irritated skin and hot spots.

This two‑in‑one formula combines a bitter deterrent with skin‑soothing ingredients, crafted in small batches in the USA. It’s designed for pet owners who want a humane, non‑toxic way to discourage chewing on wounds, fur, furniture and other household items, while also offering topical relief for minor hot spots. The product is steroid‑free, non‑staining, and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use when applied according to directions.

How does this spray discourage my dog from chewing furniture or wounds?

The spray uses a naturally bitter taste that creates a negative mouthfeel, teaching pets to avoid treated areas. Repeated exposure helps pets associate chewing with an unpleasant taste, reducing the behavior over time when combined with consistent training.

• Bitter, lemongrass‑scented formula that dogs dislike
• Safe for application on furniture, fabrics, leashes and collars
• Non‑staining formula so treated surfaces keep their appearance
• Works best when reapplied regularly during training

Can I use it directly on skin and hot spots?

Yes — Bodhi Dog Bitter 2‑in‑1 is formulated to be safe for skin and minor wounds, providing a gentle, non‑steroidal option for situations where chewing or licking is a concern. It soothes irritated areas while discouraging further biting or licking that can worsen a hot spot.

• Steroid‑free and non‑toxic ingredients suitable for topical use
• Gentle lemongrass scent rather than harsh medicinal odor
• Apply sparingly to affected area and monitor for irritation
• Complement with veterinary guidance for serious skin issues

Is this spray safe for all stages of training and all surfaces?

The product is intended as a training aid and surface deterrent for both puppies and adult dogs, and it can be applied indoors or outdoors without leaving stains. Because each pet reacts differently, consistent use aligned with positive reinforcement training delivers the best results.

• Safe for fabrics, wood, plastic, and pet bedding when used as directed
• Suitable for repeated use during behavior modification routines
• Non‑toxic ingredients make it safer around households with kids
• Not a substitute for professional training or medical care

How should I use the spray for best results and safety?

Apply the spray to targeted areas where chewing or licking occurs and reapply as behavior continues, pairing use with consistent training and supervision. For skin application, use sparingly on the irritated area and observe your pet for any adverse reaction; discontinue use and consult your veterinarian if irritation occurs.

• Shake bottle and spray a light, even layer on the area to deter
• Reapply after cleaning or once the scent fades during training
• Use alongside positive reinforcement, toys, and redirection
• Contact Bodhi Dog support or a vet if you have concerns
