Bocce's Bakery Brushy Sticks Dog Dental Treats — Large Breeds (16 oz), bristled chew for plaque & fresh breath

Bocce's Bakery Brushy Sticks for large breeds are baked dental chews shaped with bristled ridges to help remove plaque and freshen breath while your dog chews. Keeping a large dog's mouth clean can feel like a chore, and daily brushing isn't always realistic. Bocce's Brushy Sticks were designed as a tasty, chewable complement to dental care: a thoughtfully shaped, limited-ingredient treat that scrubs teeth mechanically as dogs bite and gnaw. Made in the USA from recognizable pantry ingredients like chickpeas, apples, coconut, and a hint of peppermint, these treats aim to support cleaner teeth and fresher breath through regular chewing.

How do Brushy Sticks work to help reduce tartar and plaque?

The Brushy Stick's unique bristled "B" shape creates textured ridges that contact tooth surfaces during chewing. That mechanical abrasion helps dislodge food debris and surface buildup while the chewy texture allows longer contact time than quick-melt treats.

• Bristled ridges dig into crevices and along gum lines.
• Chewy matrix prolongs chewing for more cleaning action.
• Treat form encourages natural scraping with each bite.

What ingredients are in the large-breed Brushy Sticks and are they safe?

Brushy Sticks use a short, simple ingredient list: chickpeas, tapioca flour, coconut glycerin, apples, brewer’s yeast, coconut, spinach, turmeric, kelp, parsley, and natural preservatives like mixed tocopherols. The recipe avoids wheat, corn, soy, and artificial additives.

• No artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives.
• Contains peppermint oil and parsley for breath-freshening aroma.
• Formulated and baked in the USA with transparent ingredients.

Which size is right for my dog and how many calories are in each treat?

Choose the size that matches your dog's weight for safe chewing: Small for 5–25 lb, Medium for 25–50 lb, and Large for 50+ lb dogs. Large Brushy Sticks are specifically portioned for bigger jaws and deliver a satisfying chew without being a choking hazard when sized appropriately.

• Large size recommended for 50+ lb dogs.
• Calorie content: about 155 calories per Large treat.
• Feed as a daily dental treat alongside a balanced diet and fresh water.

How should I introduce Brushy Sticks into my dog's routine?

Offer Brushy Sticks as a supervised daily treat, especially after meals, to maximize their cleaning action. Start by observing chewing behavior to ensure the size and texture suit your dog's bite and remove any large fragments when appropriate.

• Supervise first chews to confirm compatibility and safety.
• Store in a cool, dry place to preserve texture and flavor.
• Use as a complement to — not a replacement for — veterinary dental care.
