BlumeTrec 68-Inch Adjustable Bow Rake — 17 Forged Steel Tines, Dual-Sided Manganese Head for Soil Loosening & Leveling

The BlumeTrec 68-inch adjustable bow rake is a heavy-duty, dual-sided metal garden tool with 17 forged steel tines for loosening soil, dethatching, spreading, and collecting yard debris.

Engineered for seasonal yard work and demanding landscape tasks, this versatile garden rake combines a long, comfortable handle with a reversible head so one tool switches between deep soil work and surface-level spreading. The head is heat-treated manganese steel with welded tines for resistance to bending and wear, while the modular handle provides reach, posture-friendly ergonomics, and easy storage.

How does this rake perform when breaking up compacted soil?

The BlumeTrec bow rake uses its longer side of tines to penetrate and loosen packed earth efficiently without excessive shoveling. The stiff, 4-inch steel tines maintain shape under pressure and are spaced to let soil pass through without tearing plant roots.

• 17 solid steel tines extend 4" for deep soil penetration
• Heat-treated manganese steel head resists bending and wear
• Wide 17" head covers more ground per pass
• Sturdy welded construction for heavy-duty use

Can I use the rake for leveling, spreading mulch, or removing thatch?

Yes — flip the head to use the shorter tine side for smoothing and distributing materials like soil, gravel, or mulch. The short tines create a consistent finish and make dethatching or leaf collection faster, reducing the need for multiple tools.

• Dual-sided head swaps tasks in seconds
• Short-tine side ideal for leveling and spreading
• Long-tine side ideal for dethatching and debris gathering
• Even tine spacing gives uniform results across the bed

Is the handle comfortable and easy to store?

The rake measures 68 inches overall to help maintain an upright posture and reduce strain while working. Its multi-section, threaded handle disassembles for compact storage, and a non-slip grip improves control in wet or sweaty conditions.

• 68" overall length for better posture and reach
• Detachable multi-section pole for adjustable length and storage
• Non-slip grip for secure handling
• Screw-mounted head and included hardware for quick assembly

How durable is the rake for repeated outdoor use?

Built from wear-resistant manganese steel and a reinforced handle, this landscape rake is designed to withstand repeated seasonal use without loosening. Welded tines and a secure threaded connection ensure the head stays aligned under heavy loads.

• Heat-treated alloy head for high hardness and wear resistance
• Secure welds keep the 17 tines firmly attached to the frame
• Steel handle and screw-mounted head resist loosening
• Designed for repeated gardening and lawn maintenance tasks
