BLACK+DECKER Allure Professional Steam Iron — Stainless Steel Soleplate, Dynamic Steam (30% More), Auto Clean

The BLACK+DECKER Allure Professional Steam Iron delivers stronger, faster steam performance and precise temperature control for sharp, wrinkle-free clothing and quick vertical touchups.

Whether you’re tackling shirts, linens, or quick steaming on the hanger, the Allure iron combines intensified steam output with adjustable settings and built-in maintenance features. Designed to move smoothly across fabrics, it balances power and convenience so everyday ironing feels faster and more reliable.

How does the Allure iron remove wrinkles faster?

Allure’s Dynamic Steam technology increases steam production by about 30% compared with certain competitors, helping fibers relax and flatten more quickly. The stainless steel soleplate spreads heat evenly and glides over fabric to cut ironing time.

• Dynamic Steam produces approximately 30% more steam for efficient wrinkle removal
• Stainless steel soleplate for better glide and even heat transfer
• High steam output is effective on heavy fabrics and linens

Can I adjust settings for delicate fabrics and heavy materials?

Yes—temperature and steam are controlled independently so you can tailor the iron to each fabric’s needs. Use lower heat and minimal steam for delicate items, and increase both when working with cotton, linen, or thicker textiles.

• Variable temperature dial for accurate fabric-specific settings
• Separate steam control to dial up bursts or reduce moisture
• Dual moisture buttons for either continuous steam blasts or a gentle mist

What maintenance and safety features keep the iron reliable?

Built-in systems help the iron stay dependable over time while giving you peace of mind during use. Auto Clean flushes mineral deposits to maintain steady steam flow, and Automatic Shutoff reduces risks if the iron is left idle.

• Auto Clean system helps remove mineral buildup from tap water
• Automatic Shutoff activates after 30 seconds on the side or soleplate, and 8 minutes on the heel
• Simple care tips: use clean tap water and run Auto Clean regularly

Is vertical steaming useful for home garments and soft furnishings?

Vertical steaming lets you smooth hanging garments, curtains, and upholstery without an ironing board. It’s a quick solution for last-minute touchups or delicate pieces that don’t tolerate direct pressure from a soleplate.

• Steam clothes on hangers for quick wrinkle removal
• Safe for drapes and many upholstery surfaces when used upright
• Speeds up touchups between wears—no board required

Who this is for: The BLACK+DECKER Allure Professional Steam Iron is aimed at busy households and small apartment dwellers who want powerful steam performance with easy controls and low maintenance. It’s a smart pick if you need faster wrinkle removal, the option to steam vertically, and safety features like automatic shutoff. Choose this model if you value an iron that balances professional results with everyday convenience.
