Bissell PowerFresh Deluxe 1806 Steam Mop for Sealed Hard Floors - 30s Heat-Up, Detachable SpotBoost Brush

The Bissell PowerFresh Deluxe 1806 is a steam mop that combines variable steam control and a detachable SpotBoost Brush to clean sealed hard floors quickly and without harsh chemicals.

This lightweight steam mop heats in about 30 seconds and uses heated water vapor to lift dirt from sealed surfaces such as hardwood, tile, marble, vinyl and laminate. A built-in tray accepts fragrance discs for an optional fresh scent while cleaning, and the removable SpotBoost Brush tackles sticky, dried-on messes that a pad alone can’t handle. The mop works with reusable microfiber pads and a refillable water tank for routine maintenance and fast touch-ups.

How does the SpotBoost Brush help with tough, stuck-on messes?

The detachable SpotBoost Brush is designed to scrub concentrated areas while steam loosens grime, so you don’t need extra elbow grease or chemical cleaners. It clips on near the mop head for targeted agitation and is easy to remove for rinsing.

• Built-in brush for scrubbing concentrated spots
• Detachable for cleaning and storage
• Works with steam to break up dried residue

Is the PowerFresh safe on my sealed hardwood and other floors?

This Bissell steam mop is intended for use on sealed hard floors only; the manufacturer advises following floor-care guidelines and testing a small area first. Steam cleaning removes soils without adding cleaning chemicals, and the low/high steam settings help adapt heat and moisture to different surfaces.

• Suitable for sealed hardwood, tile, linoleum, marble, granite, and vinyl
• Variable steam levels for delicate or stubborn surfaces
• Always test a discreet spot before full-floor use

How quickly does it heat up and how do I use the fragrance discs?

The unit reaches operating temperature in roughly 30 seconds for near-instant readiness—useful for quick spill cleanup or routine maintenance. Drop an included Spring Breeze fragrance disc into the built-in tray to introduce a pleasant scent as you clean; the disc is optional and can be removed anytime.

• Ready to use in about 30 seconds
• Simple water-fill with measuring cup included
• Insert or remove fragrance disc via the built-in tray

What routine maintenance does the mop require?

Keep the water tank clean, rinse or machine-wash the microfiber pad after use, and remove debris from the spot brush as needed. Periodic checks extend the life of the unit and ensure consistent steam performance.

• Empty and rinse water tank after use
• Machine-wash microfiber pads (follow care label)
• Detach and rinse SpotBoost Brush to remove trapped grime
