Bissell Pet Stain & Odor Machine Formula — 60 oz Concentrated, EPA Safer Choice

BISSELL 2X Pet Stain & Odor Full Size Machine Formula is a 60-ounce carpet-cleaning solution formulated to remove pet stains and reduce persistent odors when used in compatible deep-cleaning machines.

This concentrated cleaning formula is designed for homes with pets and heavy foot traffic. It works in BISSELL full-size carpet cleaners and most other leading deep carpet cleaning machines when used as directed. The EPA Safer Choice certification means the ingredients were selected with safer chemistry in mind, while StainProtect technology helps guard fibers against new messes settling in.

How does this formula remove stubborn pet stains?

The product combines surfactants and targeted ingredients that break down organic materials from urine, vomit, and tracked-in dirt so they can be extracted by your machine. Regular use on fresh or set stains improves lift and makes follow-up cleaning easier.

• Breaks down organic residues for machine extraction
• Effective on urine, vomit, muddy paw prints, and food spills
• Works with hot or warm water for better penetration

Will it neutralize pet odors and skunk smells?

The formula is designed to reduce many common household odors by neutralizing odor-causing molecules rather than simply masking them. It can significantly reduce lingering smells when used as part of a full machine cleaning cycle and when follow-up drying and ventilation are provided.

• Neutralizes odor-causing compounds instead of covering them
• Specifically formulated to address pet urine and strong odors like skunk
• Works best when stains are treated promptly and carpets fully rinsed

Is this safe for my carpet fibers and family?

BISSELL 2X Pet Stain & Odor Formula is EPA Safer Choice certified, indicating the ingredients meet criteria for safer chemistry relative to conventional cleaning products. When diluted and used according to the machine manufacturer’s directions, it is appropriate for most carpet fibers, but spot-testing a hidden area is recommended before wide application.

• EPA Safer Choice certified ingredients
• Suitable for most carpets when used per instructions
• Always spot-test and follow dilution guidelines for safety

How do I use it with my BISSELL or other deep-cleaning machine?

Pour the recommended amount into the machine’s clean water tank following the label instructions; do not over-concentrate. Run the normal cleaning cycle, making sure to pass slowly over heavily soiled areas to allow the formula to work, then thoroughly extract rinse water and let the carpet dry completely.

• Follow machine and bottle dilution directions exactly
• Slow, overlapping passes improve stain removal
• Rinse and extract thoroughly to remove residue and speed drying

Who is this for: This 60-ounce BISSELL formula is a practical choice for pet owners, busy families, and anyone who needs a reliable deep-cleaning carpet solution. It suits households that use upright or full-size extractor machines and want a product formulated to tackle strong odors, frequent messes, and to provide an added protective layer that helps resist future stains.
