Bissell Little Green HydroSteam Portable Carpet Cleaner 3618 — Steam + Suction with OXY Formula

The BISSELL Little Green HydroSteam Portable Carpet Cleaner (3618) is a compact deep-cleaning machine that combines steam, suction and a powerful OXY formula to remove set-in stains, pet messes and oily soils across carpet, upholstery, tile and auto interiors.

Compact yet versatile, this Little Green model adds HydroSteam® Technology to the trusted BISSELL portable-cleaner line. It pairs steam with targeted suction and the included BISSELL PET PRO OXY Spot & Stain Urine Eliminator with StainProtect® to lift embedded dirt, neutralize odors and work on both water-safe soft surfaces and select hard surfaces. The unit is built for quick spot jobs and more thorough cleaning sessions, with three cleaning modes and a selection of tools for different surfaces.

How does HydroSteam technology improve stain removal?

HydroSteam blends hot steam, strong suction and BISSELL’s OXY stain formula to break down oily residues and stubborn spots that cold-water extraction often leaves behind. The heat softens soils while the chemical action and suction lift residues into the dirty tank.

• Steam to loosen grease and set-in stains
• Suction to extract lifted dirt and moisture
• OXY formula included for enzyme and oxygen-based stain attack
• Designed to reduce repeat cleaning on tough spots

Which surfaces and messes can it handle?

The Little Green HydroSteam is made to work on a wide range of surfaces: carpets, area rugs (spot clean only), upholstered furniture, stairs, vehicle interiors and tile grout. It even includes a Multi-Surface Tool for hard-surface cleaning like tile and sneakers, expanding its everyday uses.

• Carpet and area rug spot cleaning with the 5" Tough Stain Tool
• Upholstery refresh and quick dry on sofas and chairs
• Auto interiors and stair cleaning for tight spaces
• Tile, grout and footwear cleaning using the Multi-Surface Tool

What cleaning modes and accessories are included?

Three modes—SteamWash, Steam and Wash—let you choose aggressive stain removal, steam refresh, or enzyme-based cleaning for biological stains. The box includes two specialized tools and the PET PRO OXY formula so you can address both fresh accidents and older, set-in spots.

• SteamWash: high-heat, high-suction for oily and set-in stains
• Steam: steam-only refresh for upholstery and grout cleaning
• Wash: enzyme-supported cleaning for pet urine and organic stains
• Includes 5" Tough Stain Tool, Multi-Surface Tool and OXY formula

How easy is it to operate and maintain?

The unit uses a dual-tank system that keeps clean and dirty water separate, with a 64 oz. clean-tank capacity for longer run times. The dirty tank is large and removable for straightforward emptying, and the design aims for fast-drying results—up to about 30 minutes on many upholstery fabrics.

• Dual tanks: larger clean tank and quick-release dirty tank
• Simple controls for switching modes and tools
• Fast-dry upholstery performance for quicker reuse
• 3-year limited warranty for added confidence

Who is this for? The BISSELL Little Green HydroSteam 3618 fits pet owners, drivers and busy households that need a portable, powerful solution for spots, pet accidents and greasy, set-in stains. It’s ideal for people who want professional-grade cleaning in a compact unit, plus the included stain formula and tools make it a practical choice for tackling a variety of surfaces without renting a large machine.
