BIG RED Boat Trailer Jack 1,000 lb with 6" Swivel Wheel — Bolt-On, Corrosion-Resistant

BIG RED Boat Trailer Jack with 6" swivel wheel is a bolt-on trailer tongue jack rated for 1,000 lbs that folds up for travel and resists corrosion for reliable trailer support.

Designed to simplify launching, hitching and storing trailers, this BIG RED ATR39001R-1 jack combines a compact footprint with a 10-1/2" to 20-1/2" lift range, a molded PP 6" wheel, and a corrosion-resistant finish. It bolts onto 3"–5" tongues and swivels 360° so you can move trailers by hand, then swing the jack up and secure it for towing. The unit ships with mounting hardware and straightforward assembly instructions.

How much weight can this trailer jack handle and what are its dimensions?

The BIG RED jack has a 1,000 lb (1/2 ton) lifting capacity suitable for most small boats, utility, and ATV trailers. Retracted height is 10-1/2" and extended height is 20-1/2", giving a practical 10" of travel for leveling and hitching tasks.

• Lift capacity: 1,000 pounds (1/2 ton)
• Retracted height: 10-1/2" (267 mm)
• Extended height: 20-1/2" (521 mm)
• Wheel diameter: 6" polypropylene (PP) tread

How does the jack mount and fold for hauling?

This model uses a bolt-on bracket that fits trailer tongues 3" to 5" wide and includes the necessary mounting hardware. The swivel bracket allows the jack to swing up parallel to the tongue and lock out of the way during travel for safe towing.

• Bolt-on installation; can also be welded if preferred
• Includes bolt-on mounting hardware and instructions
• Swing-back swivel design folds up flush with trailer tongue

What materials and features improve durability and ease of use?

Constructed from zinc-plated and powder-finished steel, the jack is built to resist rust and abrasion in wet, salty, or dirty environments. A side-wind handle with an integrated grip makes manual raising and lowering smooth, while the 6" nylon-reinforced PP wheel handles uneven surfaces without sinking.

• Galvanized inner and outer tubes for corrosion resistance
• Powder-coated finish adds scratch and weather protection
• Side-wind handle with comfortable grip for controlled operation
• PP tire resists punctures and slides smoothly over gravel and mud
