Bernzomatic Trigger Start Torch TS8000 — Propane Professional Torch, Trigger Ignition & High Heat

The Bernzomatic TS8000 Trigger Start Torch is a pressure-regulated, trigger-ignition propane torch built for faster, higher-heat work with durable cast-aluminum construction.

Designed for professional and serious DIY use, the TS8000 delivers a concentrated, optimized swirl flame that produces maximum heat output for quicker soldering, brazing, and heat-shrinking tasks. Its instant on/off trigger makes ignition easy and safer than manual methods, while adjustable flame control and a run-lock feature improve precision and reduce hand fatigue. Pressure regulation ensures a consistent flame whether working upright or upside-down, and the sturdy cast-aluminum body resists wear on busy job sites.

How does this torch achieve faster heating and shorter work times?

The TS8000 uses a large, optimized swirl flame that focuses combustion energy for higher temperatures and faster transfer to the work surface. That efficient flame geometry combined with reliable fuel delivery cuts soldering cycle time by about 30% compared with smaller torch heads.

• Large optimized swirl flame for concentrated heat
• Pressure-regulated fuel flow for steady performance
• Strong heat output suitable for soldering, brazing, and thawing

Is the trigger ignition and run-lock practical for longer jobs?

Yes — the instant on/off trigger reduces the need for manual sparking and hands-free work is possible with the run-lock button. This combination improves efficiency and reduces finger strain during extended use, while delivering consistent ignition every time.

• Instant trigger ignition for quick starts
• Run-lock for sustained, hands-free heating
• Improved fuel savings because ignition is precise and controlled

Can I use the TS8000 safely in different orientations?

The torch is pressure-regulated so it maintains consistent flame intensity whether you hold it upright, sideways, or inverted. This makes it versatile for reaching awkward angles and working under sinks, in tight assemblies, or on suspended piping.

• Pressure regulation for uniform performance in any position
• Reliable flame control for delicate or heavy-duty tasks
• Cast-aluminum body resists impact and job-site wear

What adjustments and controls are available for precision work?

Flame size and intensity are adjustable with a simple control that lets you dial in a small, precise tip or a powerful high-heat flame. The combination of adjustable flame control and the optimized swirl output helps match the torch to a wide range of materials and tasks.

• Adjustable flame control for delicate soldering or strong heating
• Trigger ignition plus fine control for repeatable results
• Compatible with standard MAP/propane fuel cylinders (check local availability)
