Bentgo Kids Stainless Steel Food Jar — 11 fl oz Insulated, Leak-Resistant

The Bentgo Kids Stainless Steel Food Jar is an 11 fl oz insulated, leak-resistant container designed to keep hot or cold meals ready for kids on the go.

This compact food jar combines double-wall vacuum insulation and durable 18/8 stainless steel to maintain meal temperature for hours while resisting dents and everyday wear. Built with kid-friendly handling, a removable silicone bumper, and a secure plastic lid engineered to seal tightly, it’s crafted to fit school lunches, daycare snacks, and family outings. All materials are PFAS- and BPA-free, and the jar is easy to clean—ideal for busy caregivers who want a dependable, reusable meal container that’s also part of Bentgo’s community giving program.

How long will this jar keep food hot or cold?

The double-wall vacuum insulation slows heat transfer so warm foods stay warmer and chilled foods remain cooler compared to single-wall containers. Actual time depends on starting temperature and ambient conditions, but the design holds temperature effectively for many hours during school or short trips.

• Double-wall vacuum insulation reduces heat loss and heat gain
• 18/8 stainless steel interior maintains flavor without metallic aftertaste
• Compact 11 fl oz capacity fits single servings like soup or yogurt
• Recommended use: pre-heated or pre-chilled food for several hours

Is the Bentgo Kids Food Jar really leak-proof for liquids?

The jar uses a threaded plastic lid with an integrated seal to minimize leaks during normal handling. It’s suitable for thick soups, stews, and yogurt, but as with any container, extreme shaking or inverted storage may still risk a small spill.

• Threaded lid designed for a tight closure
• Silicone seal helps prevent seepage around the rim
• Best for semi-liquid and solid foods rather than watery broths when heavily jostled
• Hand wash the lid to preserve the leak-proof properties over time

How do kids open and care for the food jar?

The lid is molded for easy gripping by small hands and the jar’s weight and wide mouth make scooping and eating straightforward. Parents should remove the silicone bumper for cleaning and run the jar itself on the dishwasher top rack.

• Easy-open plastic lid sized for child grip and twisting
• Wide mouth allows spoon access and simple portioning
• Removable silicone bumper protects against drops and comes off for cleaning
• Lid recommended for hand washing; jar is top-rack dishwasher safe

What safety and environmental features does it offer?

Materials were chosen to minimize exposure to problematic chemicals and to last through frequent use. The jar is BPA-free and made without PFAS, and the stainless-steel body resists stains and odors so it can be reused for years.

• PFAS- and BPA-free components for safer food storage
• Durable 18/8 stainless steel resists corrosion and flavor transfer
• Removable silicone parts reduce trapped food and hidden stains
• Part of Bentgo’s charitable support to feed children and families
