Bentgo Chill Mini leak-resistant lunch box, 3- or 4-compartment with removable ice pack (2.7 cup)

Bentgo Chill Mini is a compact, leak-resistant lunch box with a removable frozen ice pack and an optional divider for 3- or 4-compartment snack and small-meal organization.

This mini version of the Bentgo Chill is engineered for people who want chilled snacks or a small meal without carrying a bulky cooler. It pairs a slim, lightweight shell with a freezer-ready ice insert that slips below the food tray to keep contents cool for hours. The tray offers flexible compartmenting so you can switch between a single roomy section or multiple small pockets for portioned snacks. Materials are food-safe and free from PFAS and BPA, and the package supports a nonprofit feeding effort.

How does the Chill Mini keep food cold during a busy day?

The Chill Mini uses a removable frozen pack that sits beneath the inner tray, creating a chilled barrier between the food and the outer shell. Freeze the pack overnight, pop it into the lunch box before packing, and it helps preserve cooler temperatures for several hours without condensation inside the tray. This design avoids wetting sandwiches or crackers while offering a simpler alternative to bulky ice packs or insulated bags.

• Included removable ice pack fits under the food tray
• Freeze overnight for several hours of cold retention
• Inner tray resists condensation on food surfaces
• No separate cooler or extra insulation required

Is the Bentgo Chill Mini easy to clean and safe for kids?

The lunch box is built from food-safe materials and is free from PFAS and BPA, suitable for children ages 3 and up and adults alike. The inner tray can be microwaved and placed on the top rack of the dishwasher, while the outer shell and the ice pack are best washed by hand to preserve their fit and finish. Latches and the slim profile are designed for regular use and classroom or office routines.

• PFAS- and BPA-free, food-safe construction
• Inner tray: microwave-safe and top-rack dishwasher-safe
• Outer shell and ice pack: hand wash recommended
• Durable latch secures contents for school or commuting

What portion sizes and compartment options does it offer?

With a 2.7-cup capacity, the Chill Mini fits snacks, a small sandwich, or a mix of finger foods. An optional divider creates two or more compartments so you can separate fruits, dips, or crunchy items; remove it when you need room for larger pieces. The flexible layout makes it useful for light lunches, after-school snacks, or portion-controlled meals.

• 2.7-cup total capacity for snacks or small sandwiches
• Optional tray divider for multi-item packing
• Use divider removed for larger items or single servings
• Compact footprint fits into backpacks and small tote bags

How reliable and durable is the Chill Mini for everyday use?

The unit weighs about 1.3 pounds and is constructed to resist daily wear while remaining light enough for kids to carry. A secure latch keeps the lid closed and helps prevent leaks during normal transport; the two-tone design also provides a modern aesthetic that holds up over time. Bentgo’s reputation for lunch gear adds reassurance for parents and commuters who need a dependable container.

• Lightweight 1.3-lb design for portability
• Secure latch helps prevent accidental openings and spills
• Stylish two-tone finish resists scuffs and looks modern
• Built for everyday classroom and commute use

Who is this for? It suits people who value portion control, easy cleaning, and materials free from PFAS and BPA, and who appreciate a brand that supports community food programs.
