Ben's Tick & Insect Repellent Eco-Spray — 30% DEET 6 oz, water-based all-angle mist for long-lasting protection

Ben's Tick & Insect Repellent Eco-Spray is a 6 oz, water-based 30% DEET spray that delivers rapid, all-angle mist coverage to repel ticks and mosquitoes for extended periods.

Designed for outdoor enthusiasts, yard workers, and anyone heading into insect-prone areas, this spray combines a proven DEET concentration with an Eco-Spray bottle that dispenses a consistent mist at any angle. The formula is water-based and alcohol-free, and the product is developed and field-tested in New Hampshire’s rugged terrain. It focuses on practical usability—quick application, reliable coverage, and portability—without unnecessary additives.

How long will this repellent protect me during outdoor activities?

Under typical conditions, the 30% DEET concentration provides multi-hour protection suitable for a full morning or evening outing. Actual duration can vary with activity level, sweating, and environmental exposure, so reapplication may be needed after heavy perspiration or prolonged water contact.

• Estimated protection up to around seven hours in standard conditions
• Reapply after heavy sweating, swimming, or towel drying
• Higher DEET concentration versus lower-percentage products for longer intervals

What makes the Eco-Spray bottle better for quick application?

The Eco-Spray delivery is engineered to produce a fine, continuous mist that works regardless of the bottle angle, so you can target limbs and clothing quickly without awkward repositioning. That consistent spray pattern helps spread the active ingredient evenly, reducing missed spots and saving time when gearing up for hikes or yard work.

• All-angle nozzle for upright, inverted, or horizontal spraying
• Fine mist for wider, more even coverage
• Easy single-hand use for fast application on the go

Is the formula safe for everyday outdoor use and clothing?

The product uses a water-based, alcohol-free carrier to reduce drying and minimize residue compared with solvent-heavy sprays. It’s formulated for external use on skin and clothing; follow label directions for application limits, and avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and damaged skin.

• Water-based vehicle—no added alcohol
• Intended for skin and fabric application per label instructions
• Store away from children and heat sources

Where was this repellent developed and tested?

Ben’s developed and tested this repellent in New Hampshire’s White Mountains to validate performance in challenging, insect-rich outdoor conditions. Field testing in rugged terrain helped refine spray ergonomics and the mist delivery to suit hikers, campers, and outdoor professionals.

• Field-tested in New Hampshire’s mountainous and wooded areas
• Formulation tuned for real-world outdoor scenarios
