Bear Grylls Mosquito Repellent Bracelets 10-Pack — DEET-Free, Adjustable Wristbands with 10-Hour Protection

Bear Grylls Mosquito Repellent Bracelets are adjustable, DEET-free wristbands that use naturally derived essential oils to help reduce mosquito and tick encounters for up to 10 hours per bracelet.

Designed for hikers, campers, parents and everyday outdoor enthusiasts, these bracelets combine a rugged look with gentle, plant-based insect-repelling ingredients. Dermatologically tested and free from DEET, the bracelets offer a convenient, hands-free way to add an extra layer of bite-reduction while you enjoy picnics, playground time, or weekend expeditions.

How do these bracelets help when I'm outdoors?

The bracelets emit a blend of essential oils that mosquitoes and some ticks find unattractive, creating a modest radius of protection around the wearer. They work best as part of a layered approach—paired with clothing choices and area-based sprays for longer outings or high-risk zones.

• Up to 10 hours of scent-based protection per bracelet.
• Wear on wrist or ankle to target exposed skin areas.
• Complement with other Bear Grylls repellents for expanded coverage.

Are these safe for children and sensitive skin?

The formula is DEET-free and uses naturally-derived essential oils that have been dermatologically tested for suitability on sensitive skin. They are marketed as appropriate for family use, including children from six months of age, but patch-testing a new product is recommended if sensitivity is a concern.

• Dermatologically tested—suitable for many sensitive skin types.
• Recommended for children aged 6 months and older.
• Non-aerosol, fragrance-based protection—no DEET ingredients.

How do I wear and adjust the bracelets for best effect?

The bracelets are adjustable to fit wrists and ankles of different sizes, so you can position them where skin is most exposed. For consistent effectiveness, avoid sealing them in airtight containers; allow the essential oils to breathe and renew by keeping them in use or exposed between outings.

• Simple adjuster for a snug, comfortable fit on wrist or ankle.
• Multiple bright colours for visibility and personal style.
• Store loosely to preserve aroma between uses.

What practical limits should I know about?

These bracelets offer localized, scent-based deterrence rather than chemical-level protection of DEET-based products. They are best for short trips, casual outdoor play, and as a complementary measure—not as the sole method for high mosquito-density or disease-risk areas.

• Not a substitute for medical-grade repellents in high-risk zones.
• Effectiveness can vary with wind, humidity, and surrounding attractants.
• Replace after the claimed protection period for reliable results.

Who is this for? Adventurers, families and everyday outdoor lovers who prefer a DEET-free, easy-to-wear insect deterrent will find these bracelets useful. They’re particularly suited to parents seeking a gentle option for young children, campers needing a lightweight repellant layer, and anyone who wants a hands-free way to reduce bites during short outdoor activities.
