Bayer Maxforce FC Magnum Roach Gel Bait — Two 33 g Syringes, ContactX Fast-Acting Control

Bayer Maxforce FC Magnum is a high-strength roach gel bait—two 33 g syringes with ContactX technology and .05% fipronil for faster colony control.

This double-pack of Maxforce FC Magnum delivers an industry-strength bait intended to supplement professional or homeowner roach programs. Each syringe contains 33 grams of gel—about 10% more than common 30 g gels—and Bayer’s ContactX formulation, designed to kill roaches by ingestion and by simple contact. The product ships in the updated blue packaging and includes one plastic plunger; follow label directions for safe, effective placement indoors or outdoors.

How does Maxforce Magnum work to eliminate roaches?

Maxforce Magnum combines a low-dose active ingredient, fipronil (.05%), with a bait matrix that attracts picky roaches. ContactX technology allows roaches to pick up the active ingredient through touch and feeding, which helps spread control through the population.

• Dual action: kills by contact and ingestion for broader impact.
• Higher concentration: five times the fipronil compared with some older Maxforce formulations.
• Transfer effect: contaminated individuals pass the active ingredient to nestmates.
• 33 g syringes give more product per tube than many competitors.

Where and how should I apply the gel for best results?

Place small beads of gel in roach activity areas such as cracks, crevices, along baseboards, and near food-handling zones. Use indoors and outdoors as allowed; avoid spraying nearby and keep bait away from heavy cleaning or dusty areas that can contaminate or bury the gel.

• Apply pea‑sized placements every 6–12 inches in infested zones.
• Do not spray pesticides or use heavy detergents near bait placements.
• Replace contaminated or consumed bait; gel may develop a dry surface but remain effective up to about a year if uncontaminated.
• Keep syringe capped when not in use; product is best used within two years.

Is Maxforce Magnum safe around pets and people?

When used strictly according to the label, Maxforce Magnum is intended for household use with appropriate precautions; always read and follow all directions and warnings on the package. Keep syringes and placements out of reach of children and pets, and avoid direct contact with skin.

• Pet-safe when applied as directed and placed where pets cannot reach.
• Wear gloves when applying and wash hands after use.
• Store capped and out of reach, following local regulations for pesticide storage.
• Consult the product label for disposal and safety instructions.
